One product review : eos lip balm

Hi fairies,

I’ve recently tried eos lip balm , a product I’ve heard wonders about but as I don’t usually need lip balms I’ve never purchased it so far, and I eventually got it as a gift and, after using it for almost a month, I’m ready to give you my opinion about it!

Let’s see how it’s described: give your lips a boost with all natural, antioxidant rich lip balm that is filled with refreshing flavors. It comes in acai blueberry, strawberry sorbet, sweet mint, pomegranate raspberry, honeysuckle honeydew, medicated tangerine, lemondrop with SPF 15. It’s 95% organic, 100% natural, and paraben and petrolatum free. Packed with antioxidant rich vitamin E, soothing shea butter and jojoba oil, eos keeps your lips moist, soft and sensationally smooth. Gluten free, phthalate free. Price is 3.29 $/ 2.40 €/ 2.00 £  for 0.25 oz on the official page, but it can be way more expensive, it depends on where you buy it.

What l like : first of all I like the packaging: you’ve sure noticed its unusual shape for a lip balm, it is a sphere and not the classic bullet lipstick like. It’s very easy to open and it reminds me of anti stress tools, those you keep in your hands squeezing them and rolling them back and forth, and it can be used with this purpose as well! You get a great amount of product and it really lasts long, mine is still as new after a month! I love that it’s natural and filled with natural oils, same oils l use for my hair and my skin: lips are sensitive and I wouldn’t put chemicals on them. I love the flavor: I’ve tried acai blueberry and strawberry sorbet, which is the one you see in my pics, and the scent is amazing! It’s not too strong nor artificial, it’s subtle but long lasting and very true to strawberries themselves, so much that I’ve been tempted to eat it ! just kidding!

It’s not greasy at all, that is one of the reason why I didn’t use lip balms, l hate that greasy feeling on my lips,  it doesn’t smudge , but at the same time it’s very easy to apply, it glides on beautifully; it keeps my lips soft and hydrated without feeling sticky. You can apply it on top of your lipstick, in the middle of your lips, to give it a little extra shine and moisturize your lips! I love it!

What I don’t like: the only fault I can find is it’s very addictive: I want to apply it every ten minutes even if there’s absolutely no need to, my lips feel soft and smooth for long after l put it on, but l love its scent so much that’s why! Apart from that it’s a great lip balm and it’s good for those of you who love natural, organic products.

My verdict: I highly recommend it, it’s a great product, it’s natural, organic, it comes in amazing flavors, it’s not sticky and it’s long lasting. I don’t think we could ask for more!

Italian version:

Ciao fatine,
