One product review : ciatè corrupted neon manicure set- shout out pink kit

Today I’m going to talk to you about a Ciatè neon set I bought few months ago; it is the corrupted neon manicure. I didn’t have any neon polish, and when I saw this one I immediately decided it had to be mine! 

Let’s see how it’s described: The Ciaté Corrupted Neon collection combines the zestiest matte-neon paint pots with glitter and glow-in-the-dark topcoat to add sizzle to your summer. Simply douse your nails in the bright polish, sprinkle glitter on top and cover with the afterglow topcoat that soaks up the daylight and continues to glow long after sunset. Price 20.00 €

- Neon Matte Paint Pot
- Loose Neon Glitter Pot
- Corrupted Topcoat

What I like : first of all I think ciatè nail polishes are good quality: they are long lasting, they’re easy to apply, they’re not streaky and with two coats you’ve got good coverage (at least those I own , I can’t say if it applies to the whole selection). I bought this set because I didn’t have any neon pink nail polish, and I haven’t been disappointed! As you can see it’s a very bright neon fuchsia, it’s got a matte finish but you can change it to shiny by simply applying your top coat; you can wear this one on its own without glitters and it’s absolutely gorgeous and vibrant!

For an extra sparkle though, you need to go ahead and open the loose neon glitter pot: as you can see here you’ll need a tissue or you could use the set plastic case to sprinkle glitters on your nails, else it will get very messy and you’ll keep finding glitters for weeks and weeks! Best way to apply them is when your nail polish isn’t completely dry , that way they will stick to it.

Last step is to apply the corrupted topcoat: it will give you the glow in the dark effect that I wasn't able to capture on camera...you have to trust me on that!

What I don’t like: applying glitters is messy, even if you place a towel or kitchen paper under your hand you can’t help for glitters to spread everywhere. For a matte nail polish this one applies quite well but I still need three coats for a good coverage.

My verdict: it is a fun set and you can mix and match , you can use neon polish on its own with your regular top coat for a shiny finish; you can use all three products or you could use the topcoat on other nail polishes for a glow in the dark effect, or you could sprinkle glitters on a different nail polish, so basically I recommend it because it’s versatile, fun and the quality is good!

Oggi vi parlo di un set di smalti ciatè che ho comprato qualche mese fa, il corrupted neon manicure set. Non avendo nessuno smalto fluo, quando l’ho visto ho deciso che doveva essere mio, e così è stato!

Vediamo come viene descritto: Lo smalto che ti accompagnerà per tutta la notte!
La collezione Corrupted Neons propone dei colori fluo ultra flashy. Per un effetto incredibilmente fashion, applicare dei glitter sullo smalto ancora umido e il gioco è fatto.
Al calar della notte, illumina la tua serata grazie allo smalto di protezione UV (trasparente all'applicazione) che reagisce al buio.

Il set contiene:

- uno smalto Electronica (13.5ml)
- una botiglietta di perle Shout Out (10g),
- un mini top coat (5 ml).

Cosa mi piace: prima di tutto secondo me gli smalti ciatè sono di ottima qualità: sono a lunga durata, facili da applicare, si stendono uniformemente e , per quanto riguarda quelli che possiedo, in linea di massima con due passate si ottiene una buona coprenza. Questo set non mi ha deluso, anzi! Come potete vedere dalla foto c’è uno smalto rosa fluo dal finish matte, che comunque può diventare lucido semplicemente applicando il top coat che usate sugli altri smalti; può essere indossato da solo o con i glitter , e in entrambi i casi il risultato è ottimo!

Ovviamente se vi piacciono i glitters come piacciono a me dovete assolutamente usare le perle shout out contenute nel set: stendete un foglio di carta, un fazzoletto oppure usate la custodia di plastica del set stesso per evitare di spargere glitters ovunque e di trovarli dopo settimane nei posti più impensati! Lo smalto non deve essere completamente asciutto, per far si che i glitter aderiscano.

L’ultima fase è quella di applicare il top coat per ottenere l’effetto glow in the dark, che purtroppo non sono riuscita a fotografare...credetemi sulla parola!

Cosa non mi piace: per quanto si possano usare accorgimenti quando si applicano i glitters, è inevitabile che vadano dappertutto, che svolazzino qua e là e che non ve ne liberiate così facilmente!

Per quanto riguarda lo smalto invece, nonostante abbia un finish matte si stende abbastanza bene, però io ho bisogno di tre passate per ottenere una copertura che mi soddisfi.

My verdict: è un set simpatico che permette di dar vita a combinazioni diverse, per esempio si può usare lo smalto da solo con un top coat lucido, o con il top coat del set , oppure si possono usare tutti e tre i prodotti, o ancora si può usare il top coat su altri smalti per renderli fluorescenti  , o si possono usare i glitter su uno smalto di un altro colore, quindi direi che lo consiglio per qualità e versatilità!
