Haul fatti a mano - natural hand made products

hi fairies,
if you love and look for natural and bio products you’re going to love this post, and you are even if you’re not into the bio cosmetics world, because some products are just great no matter if they’re bio or not, being natural is just a plus in my opinion; I love trying all kind of products, if I find good bio ones I’m happy to use them and repurchase them , but to be honest I use non bio cosmetics all the time as it’s not a priority of mine.

I also love supporting small, independent brands, and fatti a mano is one of them: they use natural ingredients that come from fair trade, their philosophy is to work with love and care to create products with balance between ingredients . all cosmetics are cruelty free, gluten free, OGM free, palm oil free and without dairy ingredients. You will find lip balms, solid body oils, face creams, body creams, soaps and essential oils in different fragrances, and I’m sure you’ll find your favourite one!
They also plan workshops and for beginners , but there are advanced ones as well, who want to learn how to make their own cosmetics, I think it’s very interesting and also fun, so check out their website where you’ll find all the info you need!

You’ll find the ingredient list with explanation on how they work and why they chose them for every single product, the website is extremely detailed!

They sent me mini sizes that have got enough product in them to try them out long enough to find out how they work and if they’re good for my skin type, first one is shea, orange and cinnamon solid body butter  , and I have to say when I opened the jar I was so pleasantly surprised to see it’s shaped like a piggy! Isn’t it the sweetest thing ever?! I love solid body creams, I tried Lush ones, they’re very hydrating , they leave my skin smooth and velvety and I think this one is no exception! The smell is delicious, I can definitely smell orange and cinnamon , two of my favourite fragrances, it’s very wintery and festive and it looks so cute I’m tempted not to use it, but I will because it smells too good to let it sit on my vanity!

I’ve got an argan and vanilla soap bar, it’s natural soap made with bio argan oil and bio vanilla extracts, handmade with care and in small amounts. All soaps are handmade with the traditional cold process method, they season for two months and they’re wrapped up with biological and biodegradable paper. I use soap bars both for body and hands, I only buy natural ones and I can’t wait to try this one!

Next mini size is a petitgrain and ylang ylang body cream : the texture is like body butters, it’s thick , but when you place your finger on top of it it gets liquid thanks to our body temperature that helps melting it. It’s very rich, you need a tiny amount of it to get a deep hydration, and I think it will keep my elbows and heels soft during winter time!

I’ve also got an extravergin coconut oil and plum face cream, the mini size will last quite a while because it’s rich and it might be too much for my skin type, so I have to use the tiniest amount each time! It’s got a solid texture and when you take a bit of it on your fingers you can feel how moisturizing it is , it’s perfect for dry skin and for those of you who experiences redness and rashes when it’s very cold.

I really love this brand and I’m thinking of placing an order, let me know what you think about bio products and if you love them!

Italian version:

Ciao fatine,

Fatemi sapere!
