One product review : the body shop wild argan oil the radiant oil /olio spray illuminante all’olio di argan

Hi fairies,
Do you use body oils or do you prefer body lotions or body butters? I like them all, it depends on the mood I’m in and , in general, I like using oils in winter, when my skin is a bit drier, while body lotions are more suitable in summer. I bought this body oil last summer and I kept it in stock waiting for the weather to get a bit colder, and last month it was the perfect time to try it out!

Let’s see how it’s described: Glow with the rich radiance of organic Community Fair Trade argan oil from Morocco for body and hair. Luxurious rich, dry oil .Satin-touch radiance .With radiant organic argan oil . Our precious argan nuts are sourced from the remote Atlas Mountains of Morocco. They are hand-picked, hand-cracked and slowly pressed for the purest, most radiant Community Fair Trade argan oil. Our trade with the six Targanine co-operatives provides women with a fair and regular income, helping them raise their living standards and increase their independence. Price 25.00$ - 17.00€ for 125 ml- 4.2oz.

What I like: I use for both hair and body, I like that it’s multipurpose and you need just one product , very handy especially for travelling! When I use it as hair oil I apply it after washing it when it’s still damp, concentrating the product on my ends where it’s more needed; it gets absorbed fast and it’s not greasy at all, of course you don’t have to apply a huge amount as it’s very rich and concentrated; it keeps frizziness at bay, my hair is shiny, soft and easy to detangle,my curls are bouncy and defined! Argan oil is light , that’s why I love it as hair oil, it is the perfect consistency not to flatten it but at the same time it nourishes my hair like no other! I love the delicate scent, I think everybody will like it as it’s not very strong. It’s very easy to apply as it’s a spray oil , so your hands won’t get oily and sticky, you can spray directly on your hair and then just scrunch the end so it will get absorbed. It can also be used as deep conditioning before washing your hair, you could leave it in all night long and in this case you will apply a bit more product; don’t forget to braid your hair and to protect your bed set with a towel!
As body oil it works just as great, it’s not sticky nor greasy, I usually spray it on wet skin soon after a shower , and I massage it in few seconds , that’s all it needs for your skin to absorb it! It leaves my skin soft, silky and smooth , very moisturized and nourished, and with a lovely glow that is not glittery, it’s just a healthy glow! I love it , it is a great product that really makes a difference if applied everytime you wash your hair and you shower! I used it on my cuticles and it keeps them soft , it’s great on hands too!

What I don’t like : it is hard to find a fault, but if I have to mention one I would say the lid tends to fall off when you carry it in your makeup bag, so if you’re taking it with you on holiday it would be better to wrap a piece of tape around the pump, to avoid leaks.

My verdict: I love the wild argan line, every products I’ve tried so far was good and I will repurchase them, and this one is no exception! It is a versatile oil , very moisturizing on hair and body, not greasy, easy to apply and with a good quality price ratio! I’m going to buy it again and I suggest you to have a look at this amazing line if you haven’t already!

Italian version :

Ciao fatine,
Per i capelli: utilizzare l'olio sui capelli asciutti come trattamento pre-lavaggio prima dello shampoo; oppure applicarlo sui capelli umidi come trattamento nutriente e poi risciacquare.
