eye makeup look 80's icon series: #2 Boy George

Hi fairies,
This is the second makeup of the 80s icons series, and today’s icon is Boy George! I couldn’t leave him out, all his makeup looks were (and still are) amazing, bold, colorful, unique and innovative, he’s always had a unique style and he was a trend setter! I hope you know who he is, if you don’t you have to check him out with the Culture Club , I’ll mention just a couple of their most popular songs: Karma Chameleon and do you really want to hurt me, and you can check him out on twitter and facebook to listen to his new music and his recipes! He’s been through a lot but he’s never given up , he’s definitely an interesting guy!
It’s been hard to choose from his makeup looks because there were so many and they were all interesting , but eventually I picked this one, a green and yellow look: I applied an olive green all over my lid and I elongated it a lot from my outer corner toward my temple, giving it a cat eye shape; I added a forest green in my outer corner to deepen up the look and then I went around the edges with a frosty lime green. I applied a matte yellow as highlighter, yes a yellow! It was used quite a lot as highlighter in the 80s, and I applied it on my lower lashline as well, to smoke out the forest green. In my water line I used a teal eye pencil and I set it with a pigment in the same shade. I darkened my eye brows a lot, he had very thick and black eye brows, and that’s it, I hope you like it!

Italian version:

Ciao fatine,
