Monster High series #2 : Cleo De Nile eye makeup look

Hi fairies,

Today I’m sharing with you another look inspired by monster high characters, and this time is Cleo de Nile’s turn!

As you can imagine by her name, she is a mummy , she looks very confident but deep inside she’s got her insecurities just like everybody else; she’s got a difficult relationship with her father, Ramses, who wants her to be the best at everything she does and he pressures her a lot, and with her older sister who’s jealous of her success and she tries to sabotage her . luckily she’s got loyal friends and a boyfriend who support her and help her out!

For this look I started by applying a sky blue eye shadow all over my lid , stopping just where my natural crease is and blending it upwards with a fluffy blending brush; I added a lighter blue shade in my crease to create a seamless gradient, while in the outer corner I placed a slightly darker blue shade to give depth to the look. I drew a very thick gold line along the lashline, and in the outer corner I drew the classic Egyptian wing ; I outlined it with black and I drew some diagonal lines inside the gold line. Oggi vi propongo un altro look ispirato a uno dei personaggi di Monster High, ed è la volta di Cleo de Nile!

Come potete immaginare dal suo nome, è una mummia , che sembra molto sicura di sé ma che , in verità, ha le sue insicurezze proprio come ognuno di noi; ha una relazione difficile con suo padre, Ramses, che pretende che lei dia sempre il massimo e la mette sotto pressione, e con sua sorella maggiore , che è gelosa del suo successo e cerca di sabotarla. Per fortuna ha degli amici veri e un fidanzato che la sostengono e la aiutano nei momenti difficili!

Per questo look ho iniziato applicando un ombretto azzurro su tutta la palpebra mobile, fermandomi all’altezza dell’occhio e sfumando verso l’alto con un pennello largo da sfumatura; ho aggiunto un ombretto di una tonalità più chiara di azzurro per sfumare meglio e ottenere una gradazione omogenea, mentre nell’angolo esterno dell’occhio ho usato un ombretto di una tonalità leggermente più scura di azzurro per dare profondità allo sguardo. Ho disegnato una linea di eye liner dorata, e nell’angolo esterno gli ho dato la classica forma del trucco egiziano; ho ripassato i contorni col nero, e all’interno ho aggiunto delle righe nere diagonali.
