first of all I want to wish you a Happy new year, a year full of love, full of everything you want to, I wish you to be happy and healthy and surrounded by your loved ones each day of the new year, which will start in few hours! I hope you’ll find five minutes to read my post, you could take a break while getting ready for tonight and join me , I hope you will!

Picking my favorite of the year hasn’t been easy, I’ve tried so many products and there are several of them I really love, but I eventually came up with a top 5 list, so let’s get started without further ado!

Kiko Miami beach babe power pop mascaras: this year colorful mascaras have been back with a vengeance, and they brought me back to my teen years when the first colorful mascaras came out! I had to buy them, I mean how could I not? I wasn’t expecting too much from them, but I was wrong! I love these ones, they came out with the limited edition Miami beach babe, and I purchased three of them, the blue one, the green one and the pink one! They are all very pigmented, the color is vibrant but, what impressed me the most is they are actually good mascaras, they add volume , they’re not sticky, lashes don’t get clumpy, they add some length, they don’t flake, they don’t smudge and they stay on all day! I use the green and the blue quite often, while I use the pink on the bottom lashes mostly and it looks really nice when matched to pink and purple eyeshadows!

Kiko matte muse liquid lipsticks: they came out with a limited edition called midnight siren, which should be still available online and in shops, and I’ve got 5 out of 6 of them. The texture is creamy, not too liquid at all, they got an hourglass shaped applicator that makes the application smooth and easy, once they set they turn to a matte finish and they are very longlasting! They don’t feel sticky, they don’t dry my lips, they look velvety and they make your lips look fuller, I love them, some of the best liquid lipsticks I’ve ever tried, especially when it comes to quality price ratio! Price 6.90 €.

The balm meet matt(e) nude palette: I received this palette from the Balm last year and , to be honest, if they didn’t send it to me I would have never purchased it because I don’t love neutral shades; this palette is, against all odds, one of my most used palette, I love it and I’m so happy they sent it to me , because it’s a must have! All colors are extremely pigmented, even the white , they’re all matte, they’re not dull at all, Matt Lombardi is a gorgeous ochre shade , Matt Abdul is a grey with a mauve hue to it, Matt Rosen is a rich brown with a red undertone, they are all beautiful and unique! They’re very easy to blend and to work with, they’re not very powdery at all. The palette is travel friendly and the packaging is adorable!

Kiko metallic shine eyeshadow: it came out with the limited edition rebel romantic, I picked the shade 02 absolutely rose, a medium warm pink, and I think it’s the best cream eyeshadow I’ve ever tried! The texture is cream to powder, I apply it with a flat synthetic brush and I pat it on my lid: the color pay off is amazing, there’s no fall out, it doesn’t crease and it lasts all day without fading away! Price 6.90 €.

Too faced cocoa powder foundation: I’ve already repurchased it because , in my opinion, is a great product! Last summer I used it on top of a tinted moisturizer to keep shine at bay and to add a bit more coverage and it worked great, but I also use it in winter as a setting powder when I want total coverage and a flawless look , because it’s a very fine powder that minimizes pores and fine lines , it blurs out imperfections and it keeps my makeup in place all day. It doesn’t look cakey and it smells amazing! It’s a bit expensive, it retails at about 30.00 € but it’s worth the money .

Prima di tutto voglio augurarvi Buon Anno,un anno pieno di amore e di tutto ciò che desiderate, vi auguro di essere felici e in salute, e di essere circondate dalle persone che amate ogni singolo giorno dell’anno, anno che comincerà tra poche ore!spero che troverete cinque minuti per leggere il mio post, potreste fare una pausa mentre vi state preparando per la serata e farmi compagnia, ne sarei felicissima!

Scegliere i miei prodotti preferiti dell’anno non è stata un’impresa facile, ne ho provati molti e , tra questi, ce ne sono diversi che mi sono piaciuti, ma in qualche modo sono riuscita a stilare una lista dei miei 5 prodotti top, quindi direi di cominciare senza indugiare oltre!

Kiko Miami beach babe power pop mascara: quest’anno i mascara colorati sono tornati alla ribalta con prepotenza, e mi hanno portato indietro nel tempo, a quando ero adolescente e si affacciavano sul mercato i primi prodotti di questo tipo! Dovevo provarne uno, non ho resistito! Questi mi piacciono molto,sono usciti con l’edizione limitata Miami Beach Babe , e io ne ho presi tre, uno blu, uno verde e uno rosa! Sono tutti molto pigmentati e dai colori intensi ma, quello che mi ha colpito di più è che sono, effettivamente dei mascara validi, volumizzano, non rendono le ciglia appiccicose,allungano anche le ciglia, non creano grumi,non si seccano, non sbaffano e durano tutto il giorno!uso molto spesso il verde e il blu, mentre uso il rosa solo sulle ciglia inferiori, abbinato ad ombretti rosa e viola, e il risultato è veramente carino!

Kiko matte muse liquid lipsticks: sono usciti con l’edizione limitata Midnight Siren,che dovrebbe essere ancora disponibile sia online che nei negozi, e ne ho 5 sui 6 disponibili.hanno una consistenza cremosa, niente affatto liquida,sono dotati di un applicatore a forma di clessidra che agevola molto la stesura, quando si fissano la finitura diventa opaca e hanno una durata lunga!non sono appiccicosi, non seccano le labbra,danno alle labbra un aspetto vellutato e le fanno sembrare più piene,mi piacciono molto, sono tra i migliori rossetti liquidi che ho provato, specialmente per quel che riguarda il rapporto qualità prezzo! Prezzo 6.90 €.

The balm meet matt(e) nude palette: The Balm mi ha inviato questa palette lo scorso anno e,ad essere sincera, non l’avrei mai scelta di mia spontanea volontà, perchè non sono un’amante dei colori neutri; contro ogni aspettativa invece, questa è diventata una delle palette che uso di più, mi piace tantissimo e sono contenta che me l’abbiano spedita, perché mi è ormai indispensabile! Tutti i colori, incluso il bianco, sono altamente pigmentati, sono tutti opachi, non sono affatto banali, Matt Lombardi è un bellissimo color ocra,Matt Abdul è un grigio con sottotono malva, Matt Rosen è un marrone intenso con una forte componente di rosso al suo interno, sono tutti fantastici e unici!sono facilissimi da sfumare, non sono polverosi ed è semplicissimo usarli. La palette è adatta anche ad essere portata in viaggio e il packaging è adorabile!

Kiko metallic shine eyeshadow: è uscito con l’edizione limitata Rebel Romantic,io ho scelto il colore 02 absolutely rose, un rosa medio caldo,e lo ritengo il miglior ombretto in crema che abbia mai provato!la consistenza è cream to powder, diventa polvere quando lo si applica, io uso un pennello sintetico piatto a questo scopo, e lo tampono sulla palpebra:la resa è eccezionale, non è farinoso, non va nelle pieghette e resiste tutto il giorno senza sbiadire! Prezzo 6.90 €

Too faced cocoa powder foundation: l’ho già ricomprato perchè, secondo me , è un ottimo prodotto!l’estate scorsa l’ho usato abbinato a un tinted moisturizer per dargli maggior copertura e per tenere a bada la lucidità e ha funzionato benissimo, ma lo uso anche in inverno quando voglio una copertura totale e un aspetto impeccabile, perché la polvere è finissima , minimizza i pori e le rughette d’espressione,annulla le imperfezioni e fa durare il trucco tutto il giorno. Non appesantisce il trucco e ha un profumo buonissimo! È un prodotto costoso, viene venduto a circa 30 €, ma secondo me vale il prezzo che costa.
