eye makeup look monster high series : Clawvenus

Hi fairies,
This look is inspired by one of the new Monster High characters we got to know watching the movie Freaky Fusion, who’s called Clawvenus: she is a blend of Clawdeen Wolf and Venus McFlyTrap and I love her very colorful style, we could call it vintage or 80’s style , couldn’t we? Neon colors were sure a thing back in the days and Clawvenus clothes make me think of the 80’s! I love vibrant colors, that’s why I enjoyed doing this makeup so much!
I applied a piece of tape in the outer corner of my eye to get a sharp line, and after that I defined my crease with a hot pink shadow; I placed the line just above my natural crease, so that it will be visible when I look straight, and I followed my eye shape. I went over it with more hot pink to intensify the color, and once I was happy with the color pay off I started bringing the color upward and blending it out with circular motions. I used a baby pink eyeshadow around the edges to blend the color even more , and with a matte vanilla browbone highlighter I create a seamless gradient. On my lid I applied a lime green eyeshadow , being careful not to overlap the hot pink, but if that happened I would have just redefined the crease with a precision brush! I covered the lime green with green glitters, and then for the fun part I drew hot pink cheetah spots all around my eye, creating a frame basically! That’s it , I hope you like it!

Italian version:

Ciao fatine,
I colori fluo erano sicuramente molto popolari all’epoca, e i suoi vestiti mi fanno pensare agli anni 80!
