One product review urban decay compact foundation naked skin

I hadn’t tried any face products in the Urban Decay naked line, I’ve only purchased two naked eyeshadow palettes, so I decided to try the compact foundation because it’s a product I don’t use often but in summer it can come in handy and, if it doesn’t perform well, I would use it as face powder.

Let’s see how it’s described: A coated, micro-milled powder foundation that diffuses light to blur the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles for a professionally retouched look.

What I like : I like the sleek and compact packaging, easy to open and close, that fit in my purse without being bulky. I use the sponge inside for touch ups and it works quite well. It can be used wet and dry but I use it dry mostly and it evens out my skin tone without looking cakey. It doesn’t set into fine lines, the powder is really fine and the result is natural yet polished, I like it when it’s very hot and I want a lightweight face makeup or when I’m in a rush and I just want to hide imperfections and slightly minimize pores. It’s not patchy nor powdery. It lasts quite well for the whole day. When applied wet it provides more coverage but it’s still lightweight and it’s not cakey.

What I don’t like: it’s expensive for the amount of product you get, that’s why I wouldn’t use it on a regular basis. It doesn’t keep shine at bay for long, only a couple of hours, I have to apply a mattifying primer or I have to touch it up every now and then. It’s light to medium coverage so it’s not what I like the most but in summer it’s fine.

My verdict: if you’re looking for a lightweight compact foundation this could be the one, I wouldn’t repurchase it though because there are similar products at a lower price.

Non avevo provato nessun prodotto viso della linea Naked di Urban Decay, ho acquistato solo due palette occhi Naked, quindi ho deciso di comprare il fondotinta compatto perché è un prodotto che non uso spesso, ma in estate può tornare utile e, se non mi dà un buon risultato, posso sempre usarlo come cipria.

Vediamo come viene descritto:  Il Fondotinta Naked Skin ha una texture in polvere modulabile ed altamente sfumabile. Dona alla pelle un effetto luminoso semi-matte, garantendo un finish impeccabile ma al contempo leggero “à la Naked”.

La formula cremosa ti regala 8 ore di tenuta, per un make-up perfetto in qualsiasi occasione! Per un effetto maggiormente personalizzabile e luminoso, prova ad utilizzare questo prodotto versatile anche da bagnato, grazie alla sua formula wet and dry. Prezzo 36 € per 5ml- 0.16 oz.

Cosa mi piace: mi piace la confezione sottile e compatta, facile da aprire e chiudere, che mi entra in borsetta senza essere ingombrante. Uso la spugna che c’è all’interno per i ritocchi e mi trovo bene. Può essere usato asciutto e bagnato ma io lo uso principalmente asciutto e uniforma la pelle senza appesantirla. Non si infila nelle rughette, la polvere è  molto fina e il risultato è naturale ma curato, mi piace usarlo quando fa molto caldo e voglio un trucco viso leggero oppure quando vado di fretta e voglio solo nascondere qualche imperfezione e minimizzare i pori. Non crea macchie e non è polveroso. Dura piuttosto bene per tutto il giorno. Quando lo si applica bagnato fornisce un po’ più di coprenza ma rimane comunque leggero e non pastoso.

Cosa non mi piace: per la quantità di prodotto disponibile è costoso, ecco perché non lo userei quotidianamente. Non tiene a bada la lucidità a lungo, solo per un paio d’ore, devo applicare un primer opacizzante oppure devo ritoccarlo durante la giornata. La copertura va da leggera a media, quindi non è quella che preferisco, ma in estate può andar bene.

Il mio verdetto: se cercate un fondotinta leggero compatto questo potrebbe fare al caso vostro, io però non lo ricomprerei perché ne esistono di simili ad un prezzo più basso.
