eye makeup look bronzed purple

Hi fairies,

For this look I wanted to use fall shades so I went for a taupe with a touch of purple on the lower lashline and I hope you like this color combo!
I applied a matte taupe eyeshadow in the crease with a fluffy blending brush and I added it a bit at a time to build the color up in a seamless way; I added a bit more color in the outer corner of my crease to give my eyes more depth, and I then applied a darker shade of taupe in the lower half of my crease. In the center of my lid I patted a metallic pink and I blended the edges in the taupe. For the lower lashline I used a vibrant cold purple and I smoked it out. I completed the look with a winged liner and some mascara, and that was it!

Per questo look ho usato tonalità autunnali, ho scelto un marrone taupe e ho aggiunto un tocco di viole nella rima inferiore; spero che questa combinazione di colori vi piaccia!

Ho applicato un ombretto opaco color talpa nella piega dell’occhio con un pennello da sfumatura e ne ho aggiunto poco alla volta in modo da intensificare il colore senza creare macchie;  ho aggiunto un po’  più di colore nell’angolo esterno della piega dell’occhio per dare più profondità allo sguardo, e poi ho applicato una tonalità leggermente più scura di marrrone talpa nella metà inferiore della piega dell’occhio. Al centro della palpebra mobile ho picchiettato un rosa metallico e ho sfumato i bordi nel color talpa. Nella rima inferiore ho usato un viola freddo molto intendo e l’ho sfumato bene. Ho completato il look con una riga di eyeliner e del mascara, ed è tutto!

I think a good face primer can make a lot of difference and make your skin look way better, so it’s important to choose the right one for your skin type; I like trying new ones and this is the last one I purchased, let’s see how it’s described: Prep your complexion using our Studio Perfect Primer. What I like: it’s got a smooth texture, a silicone feel we could say, so it helps foundation to be blended easily; it evens out my skin by filling in pores and fine lines, I can definitely see the difference when I apply it. It makes my foundation last a bit longer without looking cakey.

What I don’t like: It doesn’t help control oils, I was hoping it would. I purchased the purple one but I barely notice any difference as for color correction. 

My verdict: I think it could be good for dry skin, but it’s not so good for oily skin and, all in all, it’s not one of my favorite face primers.

Cosa mi piace: ha una texture scorrevole, potremmo dire che è siliconica, quindi aiuta a sfumare facilmente il fondotinta; uniforma la pelle minimizzando i pori e le rughette di espressione, la differenza si vede molto quando lo applico. Fa durare di più il fondotinta evitando l’effetto mascherone.

Cosa non mi piace: non aiuta a tenere a bada la lucidità, cosa che speravo facesse. Io ho acquistato quello viola, ma non vedo nessuna differenza per quanto riguarda la correzione colore.

Il mio verdetto: penso che vada bene per le pelli secche, non lo consiglierei a chi ha la pelle grassa e, tutto considerato, non è tra i miei primer viso preferiti.

 

Mountains nail art

For this nail art I applied a lilac nail polish on my middle and ring finger as background color, and I painted the rest of my nails with a taupe nail polish. I painted the tip of my lilac nails with white to represent snow and then I basically drew several triangles, some a bit taller than the others.

on taupe nails I just added some white dots to represent snow falling on the ground and that was it, I hope you like it!

Per questa nail art ho steso due passate di uno smalto lilla sul medio e sull'anulare come colore di sfondo mentre ho usato uno smalto taupe sul resto delle unghie. Ho applicato del bianco sulla punta delle unghie lilla per rappresentare il suolo innevato,e poi ho disegnato dei triangoli bianchi di altezze diverse che sarebbero le montagne. Sul resto delle unghie ho disegnato dei puntini bianchi che rappresentano la neve che cade, ed è tutto, spero vi piaccia!

One product review cien tonka bean and shea butter body butter

I love body butters for their consistency and their hydrating power, my favorite are foodie scented ones but I appreciate fruity ones as well. For years I used only the Body Shop body butters because scents were amazing and because there weren’t many options on the market but things have changed in the last 7-10 years and now there are so many different brands, scents, formulations, it’s hard to make up our mind!

Cien is a line available at Lidl, all their products are affordable and the quality is pretty good for the price point.

I purchased this body butter for only 2.99 € and I really love it!

The consistency is fluffy,not thick at all, it’s easy to apply and it’s very rich so a little goes a long way. It moisturizes my skin leaving it smooth and soft, I like the scent that reminds me of orange blossoms, very springy and fresh. It’s not very long lasting though, it fades away pretty fast. It keeps my skin hydrated all day long, to me it’s a good product especially considering how inexpensive it is. Its scent might be too strong for some people, so be aware of that in case you’re very sensitive to perfumes or fragrances. I’ve noticed it leaves a white layer on my skin when I apply too much of it, I have to be careful to pick just a pea size but if you have dry skin you might probably apply a bit more product without having any issues.

All in all I think it’s a great body butter, I actually already repurchased it and I encourage you to give it a try because it’s definitely worth it!

Mi piacciono molto i burri corpo per la loro consistenza e il loro potere idratante,  preferisco quelli con profumi di dolci ma mi piacciono anche quelli fruttati. Per anni ho usato solo i burri corpo di The Body Shop perché avevano dei profumi buonissimi e perché sul mercato non esistevano molte alternative, ma le cose sono cambiate negli ultimi 7-10 anni e ora ci sono moltissime marche, profumi, formulazioni, che è perfino difficile scegliere!

Cien è una linea disponibile da Lidl, tutti i loro prodotti sono abbordabili e hanno un buon rapporto qualità prezzo.

Ho acquistato il loro burro corpo a 2.99 € e lo adoro!

Ha una consistenza spumosa, assolutamente non pesante, è facile da applicare e molto corposo quindi ne basta davvero pochissimo. Lascia la pelle idratata, morbida e liscia, e ha un profumo che mi ricorda quello dei fiori d’arancio, decisamente fresco e primaverile. Non è però molto duraturo, svanisce dopo poco dalla stesura. Mantiene la pelle idratata tutto il giorno, per me è un prodotto valido specialmente se si pensa al prezzo, davvero basso.  Il suo profumo potrebbe essere considerato troppo intenso da alcune persone, tenetelo a mente se siete molto sensibili alle fragranze e agli aromi. Ho notato che lascia una patina bianca sulla pelle se ne applico più del dovuto, devo stare attenta a prelevarne una noce e non di più ma, se avete la pelle secca, potrete probabilmente usarne di più senza avere questo problema.

Nel complesso lo ritengo un prodotto valido, infatti l’ho già ricomprato e vi consiglio di provarlo perché ne vale proprio la pena!

Eye makeup look sparkly cloud

For this look I started packing a grey purple pigment full of silver shimmer in my crease, I basically traced a C and I applied it all over my lid; I blended the edges by adding a sparkly champagne pigment that also added a bit of warmth to the look. I wanted more sparkles so I applied a shimmery silver pigment on my lid, keeping it below my crease and creating a soft cut crease with it. I completed the look with a winged liner and some mascara, and that was it, I hope you like it!

Per questo look ho cominciato ad applicare un pigmento viola con sottotono grigio pieno di glitter argentati nella piega dell’occhio, praticamente ho disegnato una C e l’ho poi applicato su tutta la palpebra mobile; ho sfumato i contorni aggiungendo un pigmento luminoso color champagne che ha anche scaldato un po’ il look. Volevo ancora più luminosità, così ho applicato un pigmento color argento con microglitter argentati sulla palpebra mobile, tenendomi al di sotto della piega dell’occhio e dando vita a una cut crease non troppo definita. Ho completato il look con una riga di eyeliner e del mascara, ed è tutto, spero vi piaccia!
