Eye makeup look berry smoky

I think berry shades are really sexy and sophisticated, do you agree? Do you use them often or not? For this look I first applied a matte dusty rose in my crease as my transition color, I blended it very well and then I added a matte mauve on top of it to give more dimension to the look. In the inner and outer corner of my lid I applied a sparkly berry pigment, and in the middle I place a sparkly purple and I blended where the colors met. I went for a bold lower lashline by using a dark burgundy and a hot pink, and I completed the look with a winged liner and mascara, and that was it, I hope you like it!

Penso che I toni berry siano sensuali e sofisticati, siete d’accordo? Li usate spesso oppure no?

Per questo look ho cominciato applicando un ombretto opaco rosa cipria nella piega, come colore di transizione, e l’ho sfumato molto bene, poi ho applicato un ombretto opaco color malva sempre nella piega per dare più dimensione al look. Nell’angolo interno ed esterno della palpebra mobile ho usato un pigmento luminoso color berry, e al centro ho usato un ombretto viola dalla finitura metallica; ho sfumato bene nel punto i due color si incontravano. Ho deciso di optare per un trucco deciso nella rima inferiore, usando un ombretto bordeaux e uno fucsia, e ho completato il look con una riga di eyeliner e del mascara, ed è tutto, spero vi piaccia!

One product review kiko radiant touch creamy stick highlighter

I love highlighters and I think a makeup look isn't complete without a sparkly touch, do you agree with me?

I bought this stick one while it was on sale just to give it a try, let’s see how it’s described: Radiant finish stick highlighter. The formula is enriched with jojoba oil and a high pearl content.

The soft and creamy texture melts flawlessly into the skin. During application, it ensures great coverage and excellent blendability. Pleasant to the touch, application is easy and precise. The highlighter allows you to create targeted points of light. The skin appears radiant.

The contemporary packaging is enhanced by a black shiny finish with the KK logo embossed on the top. The handy stick format makes it possible to define and shape facial features simply, yet professionally and precisely. Price 9.95 €.

What I like: I like how fast it is to apply it and to blend it out, you can use your fingers if you like and it will blend beautifully. It’s lightweight, creamy but not patchy, it basically feels like you’ve got nothing on your skin. It’s available in two shades, both buildable and pigmented: with one swipe you’ll get a nice glow, classy and subtle but still visible, for extra shine you can apply another layer on top of it, it won’t look cakey. Once it’s set it’s not sticky and it melts in with your skin or makeup, it lasts all day without fading away. It’s small so it’s perfect to come with you on vacation, it’s the perfect highlighter to use at the seaside because it gives that wet look we all look for!

What I don’t like: being a creamy product it needs to be applied before face powder and sometimes I feel like it’s an extra step even if it’s not, as I would apply a powder one on top of face powder. It’s a bit expensive considering the amount of product in the stick.

My verdict: I like it because it’s a way to get a nice and subtle glow in few seconds, I use it mostly in summer when I apply a tinted moisturizer or just foundation, I add this on top and I’m good to go!

amo gli illuminanti e penso che un makeup non sia completo senza un tocco di luce, anche voi la pensate così?

Ho comprato questo prodotto in stick quando era in saldo perché mi era venuta voglia di provarlo, vediamo come viene descritto:  Illuminante in stick dal finish radioso. La formula è arricchita con olio di jojoba e un’alta percentuale di perla.

La texture, morbida e cremosa, aderisce perfettamente alla pelle. In fase di stesura, ha un ottimo rilascio colore e un’alta sfumabilità. Il tocco è piacevole al tatto, l’applicazione facile e precisa. L’illuminante permette di creare mirati punti luce. L’effetto sulla pelle è radioso.

Il moderno pack è valorizzato da un finish nero lucido con logo KK inciso sul top. Il pratico formato in stick permette di definire e modellare i lineamenti in modo semplice, ma professionale e accurato. Prezzo 9.90 €.

Cosa mi piace: mi piace che si applica e si sfuma molto velocemente, si possono usare le dita se si preferisce e si sfuma bene anche così. è leggero, cremoso ma non crea macchie, praticamente sembra di non avere niente sulla pelle. È disponibile in due tonalità, entrambe modulabili e pigmentate: con una passata si ottiene una bella luminosità, elegante, discreta ma visibile, se volete un effetto super luminoso si può applicare un secondo strato senza pericolo che crei grumi. Una volta fissato non è appiccicoso e si fonde con la pelle e con il trucco, dura tutto il giorno senza svanire. È piccolo quindi è perfetto da portare in vacanza, è l’ideale da usare al mare perché dà quell’effetto bagnato che tutte cerchiamo!

Cosa non mi piace: essendo un prodotto cremoso va applicato prima della polvere viso, e a volte mi sembra che debba fare un passaggio in più anche se, in realtà, non è così, perché applicherei comunque l’illuminante in polvere sopra la cipria. È leggermente costoso considerando la quantità di prodotto contenuta nello stick.

Il mio verdetto: mi piace perché permette di ottenere un bell’effetto luminoso in pochi secondi, lo uso maggiormente in estate quando applico solo un idratante colorato o un fondotinta leggero, lo aggiungo al di sopra di questi prodotti e sono pronta per uscire!

One product review: colourpop shock highlighters

Are you a highlighter junkie like I am or do you like a subtle touch of sparkle? I really wanted to try colourpop highlighters because they are inexpensive and the texture is unique and innovative, so I purchased few of them as soon as international shipping was available and now I got four of them! They also have powder highlighters now, I bought one but I haven’t tried it yet, I will write a review after trying it out.

Let’s see how they’re described: We took our famous Super Shock formula and added luminous pearls and glimmer to create the perfect crème powder highlighter. This long-wearing crème powder cheek formula is the BFF of our famous Super Shock Shadows; it shares the same unique texture that is extremely buildable and blends smoothly to leave the cheeks looking healthy. Price 8.00 $ for 4.2 g/ 0.15 oz.

What I like:  they come in several different shades to match every skin tone from super pale to dark ones, and that’s a plus for a low cost product! The texture is the same of super shock shadows so it’s bouncy, unique we can say: the best way to applying them is by using your fingers as the brand suggests, but I also use a fan brush and I like the result. They are buildable so they can go from subtle to bold depending on how many layers you apply. They’re easy to blend, they are very pigmented, they don’t get patchy and they last all day. They’re vegan and cruelty free.  Unlike many cream products, they don’t apply patchy and they don’t take away foundation if previously applied.

What I don’t like: like super shock shadows you need to close the lid very well else they dry really fast and they crumble, basically you have to throw them away if they do. I prefer powder highlighters because I like applying them on top of face powder, but that’s my personal preference: I feel like they lose vibrancy after applying face powder, like all cream highlighters, and I end up applying a touch of powder one.

My verdict: I recommend them because the color range is really huge, they are a fun product to use and they’re really inexpensive!

Anche voi siete fissate con gli illuminanti o optate per un leggero tocco di luce? Io volevo proprio provare gli illuminanti colourpop perché sono economici e la loro consistenza è unica e innovativa, quindi ne ho acquistato un paio quando hanno iniziato a spedire in tutto il mondo, e ora ne ho quattro! Adesso ci sono anche gli illuminanti in polvere, ne ho comprato uno ma non l’ho ancora provato, scriverò una recensione non appena l’avrò provato.

Vediamo come vengono descritti: abbiamo preso la nostra famosa super shock formula e ci abbiamo aggiunto perle luminose e scintilli per il perfetto illuminante in crema. La formula di questo illuminante a lunga durata è la migliore amica di quella dei nostri famosi ombretti super shock; condivide con lei la consistenza unica e molto modulabile e si sfuma facilmente per un aspetto sano delle guance. Prezzo 8.00 $ per 4.2 g/ 0.15 oz.

Cosa mi piace: sono disponibili in tanti colori che si abbinano a ogni carnagione, dalle più chiare a quelle più scure, e questo è un pregio per un prodotto low cost! la texture è la stessa degli ombretti super shock quindi è morbida, possiamo dire unica: il modo migliore per applicarli è quello di usare le dita, ma io mi trovo bene anche usando un pennello a ventaglio, il risultato mi piace. Sono modulabili quindi possono essere delicati e possono arrivare ad essere intensi a seconda degli strati applicati. Sono facili da sfumare, sono pigmentati, non formano chiazze e durano tutto il giorno. Sono vegan e cruelty free. Al contrario di molti prodotti in crema, quando si applicano sono uniformi e non portano via il fondotinta nel caso in cui sia stato precedentemente applicato.

Cosa non mi piace: proprio come per gli ombretti super shock bisogna chiudere il tappo molto bene altrimenti si seccano molto velocemente e si sbriciolano, diventando impossibili da usare e, quindi, vanno buttati. Preferisco gli illuminanti in polvere perché mi piace applicarli sopra la cipria, ma è una mia preferenza: mi sembra che perdano di intensità dopo aver applicato la cipria, e finisco per intensificarli dando una passata di illuminante in polvere.

Il mio verdetto: li consiglio perché la gamma di colori è vasta, sono un prodotto divertente da usare e costano poco!

One product review kiko solar hair care oil

My hair is bleached and long and it needs to be deeply hydrated, that’s why I use hair mask, I always use hair conditioner after shampooing and then I apply hair oil on damp hair, this way I prevent frizz and my hair stays soft and smooth. The downside with hair oils is that some of them are too heavy and they make my hair look greasy and dirty when it’s not dirty at all, it’s not easy to find the right one!

This hair oil is formulated to protect hair from sun damage, so it’s specifically made to use at the beach, it’s rich in antioxidants and vitamins and it claims to repair damaged hair and to keep hair healthy.

What I like : I like the simple see through packaging that allows to see how many product is left, I like the pump because it’s hygienic, there’s no waste of product and it’s perfect to take it to the beach in case you want to spray it on to protect your hair from sun rays. It’s a dry oil so it doesn’t feel greasy at all, not even on my hands, it gets absorbed very fast and it’s extremely lightweight. It helps detangle my hair, it gets rid of frizz and it leaves my hair soft and airy. If needed I apply one pump on dry hair the following day, just so it’s more manageable.

What I don’t like: I can’t find anything I don’t like about this hair oil, it is one of my favorite and I hope kiko will put it back in stock soon! Someone might not like it because it's a silicon based oil.

My verdict: I totally recommend it, it’s great for dry hair and to protect it from sun rays damage, it works well before using a straightener as your hair will be easier to straighten!

Ho I capelli lunghi e decolorati che hanno bisogno di idratazione profonda, ecco perché uso maschere per capelli, uso sempre il balsamo dopo lo shampoo e poi applico dell’olio per capelli sui capelli umidi in modo da eliminare il crespo e mantenerli morbidi e lucidi. Il problema con alcuni oli è che sono troppo pesanti e fanno sembrare i miei capelli unti e sporchi anche quando sono puliti, non è facile trovare quello giusto!

Questo olio per capelli è formulato per proteggerli dai danni dei raggi del sole, quindi è creato per esser e usato sulla spiaggia, è ricco di antiossidanti e vitamine e sostiene di riparare i capelli danneggiati e di mantenerli sani.

Cosa mi piace: mi piace la semplice confezione trasparente che mi permette di tenere sott’occhio quanto prodotto è rimasto, mi piace la pompetta perché è igienica e previene sprechi di prodotto ed è ideale da portare in spiaggia in caso voleste spruzzarlo sui capelli per proteggerli dai raggi del sole. È un olio secco quindi non unge assolutamente, si assorbe rapidamente e non appesantisce. Mi aiuta a districare i capelli, elimina il crespo e mantiene i capelli morbidi e ariosi. Se serve ne applico una spruzzata anche sui capelli asciutti per renderli più facili da gestire.

Cosa non mi piace: non riesco a trovare nessun difetto a questo prodotto, è uno dei miei oli preferiti e spero che ritorni presto disponibile! Ad alcuni potrebbe non piacere perchè è siliconico.

Il mio verdetto: lo consiglio senza riserve, è ottimo per i capelli secchi  e per proteggerli dai raggi del sole, è ideale anche usato prima della piastra perché rende l’operazione più semplice!

Sleeping seal nail art

Here’s a very sweet and cute nail art for you! It’s super easy so I hope you’ll give it a try!

I painted all my nails with a baby blue nail polish but my ring finger, where I applied a white nail polish. Here I painted our seal: I drew an eight shape with baby blue in the lower half of my nail, I added a black dot in the middle, which represent the seal’s nose, and on the upper part of my nail I added two black dots for its eyes. I drew a pink tongue and some details, and then I moved on to the rest of my nails. With a dotting tool I added white polka dots on all of them, on my index finger I painted a half moon and a star, a little heart on my middle finger and ZZZ on my pinkie, and that was it, I hope you like it!

Oggi vi propongo una dolcissima nail art! è anche facilissima, spero che anche voi proverete a farla!

Ho dato due passate di smalto celeste su tutte le unghie tranne che sull'anulare, dove ho usato uno smalto bianco. Qui ho dipinto la nostra foca: ho disegnato una forma a otto in celeste nella metà inferiore dell’unghia, ho aggiunto un pallino nero al centro, che rappresenta il naso della foca, e nella parte superiore dell’unghia ho disegnato due pallini neri che sono gli occhi. Ho aggiunto la lingua in rosa e qualche altro dettaglio, e poi sono passata alle altre unghie. Con un dotting tool ho aggiunto pois bianchi su tutte le unghie, sull’indice ho dipinto una mezza luna e una stella, un cuoricino sul medio e ZZZ sul mignolo, ed è tutto, spero vi piaccia!

Eye makeup look soft pink cut crease

Did you feel romantic for Valentine’s day? I do, and the color I always reach out for when I feel this way is pink so, even if it’s not Valentine’s day I feel in a pink mood today! Today’s makeup features a soft matte pink, nothing too bold, suitable for young girls and for everyone actually. I started by cutting my crease with a warm medium brown eyeshadow on a small detail brush, I followed the natural shape of my eye and then I brought the color up a bit. I went back with brown to define the crease a bit more, and then on my lid I applied a nice baby pink. On the edges of the brown I blended out a hazelnut eyeshadow to create a gradient, and I used a matte vanilla eyeshadow as my brow bone highlighter. I completed the look with a winged liner and mascara, and that was it, I hope you like it!

Vi sentite romantiche per San Valentino? Io sì, e il colore che uso sempre quando mi sento così è il rosa e, anche se non è san Valentino, oggi mi sentivo in un mood rosa! Il makeup di oggi ha come protagonista un delicato rosa opaco, niente di troppo intenso, adatto anche alle giovanissime e a tutti a dire il vero. Ho iniziato definendo la piega dell’occhio con un ombretto di un marrone medio caldo e un pennello di precisione, ho seguito la naturale forma del mio occhio e poi ho portato il colore verso l’alto poco alla volta. Ho poi ripreso il marrone e ho definito maggiormente la piega, e poi sulla palpebra mobile ho usato un bel rosa delicato. Sui bordi del marrone ho sfumato un color nocciola per creare una sfumatura, e ho usato un ombretto opaco color vaniglia come illuminante dell’arcata sopraccigliare. Ho completato il look con una riga di eyeliner e del mascara, ed è tutto, spero vi piaccia!

One Product review Lime Crime Venus palette

One year ago I wrote a review on Lime Crime Venus 2 palette, you can read it here if you’re interested, and today I’ll tell you what I think about the Venus palette, which was the first one to be launched.

I didn’t choose it at first because I don’t use burgundy/ rusty shades very often but, after falling in love with the Venus2, I gave in and I thought I needed these shades in my collection, so why not going for quality eyeshadows I love?!

Let’s see how it’s described:  Take the classical beauty of a Renaissance masterpiece, cross it with the effortless chic of early 90s grunge and you’ll reach VENUS: Lime Crime’s new eye shadow palette. Reinvigorating your arsenal with rustic burgundies and opalescent pinks, this palette will elevate any eye artistry to Botticellian heights. Price 30.00 £

What I like: I love the packaging with Venus by Botticelli printed on it, I’m a sucker for classic paintings so this palette is perfect for me! there are eight eyeshadows in it, matte and shimmer, and I find the quality just as good as the Venus 2: there’s no fall out whatsoever, I actually think these are the most buttery eyeshadows I’ve ever tried, they are extremely pigmented yet easy to blend and buildable. They don’t need a colourful cream base to pop up, they do on their own. They don’t crease during the day, they don’t fade away, they last all day and they’re just as vibrant as when first applied. Rebirth is a unique shade, a matte apricot with some blue in it, I love it but I love them all to be honest. I like the size as it makes it perfect for travel.

What I don’t like: it’s one of my favorite palette, the only downside, at least for me, could be the color range because, as I said, they’re not my favorite colors and I don’t use them often, but it’s a matter of personal preference. They are actually very trendy and most people love them.

My verdict: I definitely recommend it, the quality is top notch and it’s not really expensive for what you get, I hope Lime Crime will release more eyeshadow palettes soon!

Un anno fa ho scritto una recensione sulla palette Venus 2 di Lime Crime che trovate qui se siete interessate, e oggi voglio parlarvi della palette Venus, che è stata la prima delle due ad essere messa sul mercato.

In un primo momento la mia scelta non era caduta su di lei perché non uso tonalità ruggine/bordeaux molto spesso ma, dopo essermi innamorata della Venus 2, ho ceduto e ho pensato che dovevo avere anche queste tonalità nella mia collezione, quindi perché non optare per ombretti di ottima qualità?!

Vediamo come viene descritta: prendi la bellezza classica di un capolavoro del Rinascimento, combinalo con lo stile casual-chic del grunge anni 90 e avrai la Venus: la nuova palette di ombretti di lime Crime. Rinforzando il tuo arsenale con rustici bordeaux e rosa opalescenti, questa palette eleverà ogni forma artistica di trucco a livelli botticelliani. Prezzo 30.00 £.

Cosa mi piace: mi piace il packaging con Venere stampata sopra, sarà che adoro i dipinti classici e, quando ho visto questa palette, ho capito subito che faceva al caso mio! Contiene otto ombretti, opachi e luminosi,della stessa ottima qualità di quelli della Venus 2: non sono assolutamente polverosi, sono estremamente pigmentati ma allo stesso tempo facili da sfumare e modulabili. Non serve una base colorata per farli risaltare, lo fanno già da soli. Non si infilano nelle pieghette nell’arco della giornata, non sbiadiscono, a fine giornata sono ancora vibranti come appena applicati. Rebirth è un colore unico, un albicocca opaco con una punta di blu all’interno che mi piace moltissimo. Mi piace anche la sua dimensione, ideale per viaggiare.

Cosa non mi piace: è una delle mie palette preferite, l’unico difetto, almeno per me, potrebbe essere la gamma di colori che, come ho detto, non sono tra i miei favoriti e non uso spesso, ma è solo una questione di gusto personale. Sono, a dire il vero, dei colori molto attuali che piacciono quasi a tutti.

Il mio verdetto: non posso fare altro che consigliarla, la qualità è altissima e non è troppo costosa per quello che offre, spero che Lime Crime faccia uscire altre palette di ombretti al più presto!

Eye makeup look pink leopard print

It’s still holiday season and I love playing with makeup and creating bold and colourful looks just for fun! Today’s look is definitely not wearable but it could be used for Halloween or mardi gras, or for a theme party!

It’s quite simple, I just defined my crease with a mauve eyeshadow on a fluffy blending brush and I added a chocolate brown in the outer corner of my crease and I blended it out very well; in the inner corner I used a matte white eyeshadow and on the rest of my lid I applied a matte baby pink. I intensified the outer corner with a magenta eyeshadow and I blended it out to defuse any harsh line. Now for the fun part I drew some black half circles with black liquid liner without being too precise because leopard spots are uneven, and I filled them in with a fuchsia liquid liner, and I completed the look with a winged liner and mascara, and that was it, I hope you like it!

Siamo ancora nel periodo delle feste e adoro giocare col makeup e creare look intensi e colorati solo per divertirmi! Il look di oggi sicuramente non è portabile ma potrebbe essere adatto per Halloween, per carnevale o per una festa a tema!

È piuttosto semplice, ho solo definito la piega dell’occhio con un ombretto opaco e un pennello largo da sfumatura, e ho poi aggiunto un ombretto color cioccolata nell’angolo esterno della piega dell’occhio e l’ho sfumato molto bene; nell’angolo interno ho usato un ombretto bianco opaco e sul resto della palpebra ho applicato un ombretto opaco rosa. Ho intensificato l’angolo esterno con un ombretto color magenta e l’ho sfumato per eliminare qualsiasi riga netta. Ora arriva la parte divertente, infatti ho disegnato dei semi cerchi neri con dell’eyeliner liquido senza preoccuparmi di essere troppo precisa perché le macchie del leopardo sono irregolari, e poi le ho riempite con un eyeliner fucsia, e ho completato il look con una riga di eyeliner e del mascara, ed è tutto, spero vi piaccia!
