I’ve
seriously got a problem with nail polish, I love it and I buy way too much of
it, I own more than 500 nail polish and I keep buying it even though not as
much as I used to, mostly because there’s no room to store it anymore! I can’t
resist cheap ones though, I want to try them, that’s why I’ve purchased a
couple of this wet n wild line, which is described as follows: Our claim to fame! We launched wet n wild in 1979 with
this epic nail polish and it is our top-sellers. Why? Here’s what we think: not
only are they just straight up awesome, but we’ve got every color, texture, and
effect that you can possibly think of: creams, metallics, glitters, you name
it! After decades of these flying off the shelves, we’re pretty sure you
already have a couple stashed away, but with so many colors, you can always add
a new one – or double up! Everyone we talk to agrees—this is simply the best
nail polish brand out there.
What I like: the bottle shape is sleek, it doesn’t take much room(which
is clearly an issue for me!) and in my opinion it looks good; just as it claims
in the description this line has got almost every color you can think of, and
also every texture, which is definitely a pro because some low cost brands have
a limited range of colors. It’s easy to find the shade and the texture you
like, you can buy as many as you want without spending a fortune. The brush is
quite thin but I like it, to me it doesn’t matter whether the brush is thick or
thin, sometimes it’s harder to get an even application with thick ones in my
experience. The colors I have are even and full, they look the same both in the
bottle and after applying them, they’re not streaky. The consistency is fine,
not too liquid. The metallic one applies streaky after one coat like every
metallic nail polish, but the second coat fixes the issue.
What I don’t like: they don’t last too long on my nails, they cheap
after two or three days which is not bad but not great either. It’s not shinier
than any other nail polish as it claims, but it gets shiny with top coat.
My verdict: for the price point they are good nail polish , if you have
a wide collection they’re perfect to add some shades without worrying about the
price. The performance is average but keep in mind they’re really cheap, we
can’t ask too much from them!

Io ho un grosso problema con gli
smalti, li adoro e ne compro decisamente troppi, ne ho più di 500 e continuo a
comprarne, anche se meno di quanto facevo prima, principalmente perché non ho
più spazio per conservarli! A quelli economici però non so resistere, li voglio
provare, ecco perché ho comprato un paio di smalti di questa linea wet n wild,
che viene descritta come segue: il prodotto che ci ha fatto diventare famosi!
Abbiamo lanciato wet n wild nel 1979 con questo smalto epico ed è uno dei nostri prodotti più venduti. Perché?
Ecco quello che pensiamo: non solo sono semplicemente fantastici, ma ci sono
tutti i colori, le texture e le finiture che vi vengono in mente: cremosi,
metallici, glitterati, c’è di tutto! Dopo decenni di vendite, siamo abbastanza
sicuri che ne abbiate già un paio nella vostra collezione, ma con tanti colori ne
potete sempre aggiungere uno nuovo o raddoppiare! Tutti coloro con cui ne parliamo
sono d'accordo: questo è semplicemente il migliore smalto sul mercato.
Cosa mi piace: la forma della
bottiglia è sottile, non occupa molto spazio (cosa che per me è decisamente un
problema!) e secondo me è molto carina; proprio come sostenuto nella
descrizione in questa c’è praticamente ogni colore che vi viene in mente, e
anche ogni finitura, il che è decisamente un lato positivo visto che, a volte,
la gamma colori di alcune marche low cost è limitata. È facile trovare il
colore e la finitura che desiderate, e potete acquistarne quanti volete senza
spendere una fortuna. Il pennello è sottile ma a me piace, per me non c’è
differenza tra un pennello sottile e uno spesso, a volte con quelli spessi è
più difficile ottenere un’applicazione omogenea a mio parere. I colori che ho
sono pieni e omogenei, il colore è uguale nella boccetta e dopo l’applicazione,
non lasciano striature. La consistenza è giusta, non troppo liquida. Quello
metallico le lascia alla prima passata ma svaniscono con la seconda.
Cosa non mi piace: sulle mie unghie
non dura troppo, si sbecca dopo due tre giorni che non è male, ma nemmeno eccezionale.
Non è più lucido degli altri smalti come sostiene, ma lo diventa col top coat.
Il mio verdetto: per il prezzo che
hanno sono buoni smalti, se avete un’ampia collezione sono l’ideale per
aggiungere tonalità senza spendere troppo. La performance è media ma non
dimentichiamo il prezzo, non gli si può chiedere troppo!
