Eye makeup look luxurious gold

I think this eye makeup would look great when your skin is tanned, it really complements olive skin in my opinion and it’s suitable for a night out at a restaurant or to the movies!

I applied a matte mauve eyeshadow in my crease with a blending brush as my transition color and I blended it very well, then I added a darker brown to give more depth to the crease. On my lid I applied a rich sparkly gold eyeshadow being careful not to cover the color in the crease. In the inner and outer corner of my eye I applied a bronze gold eyeshadow. I chose a fuchsia in the lower lashline, just to add a pop of color to this look and I completed the look with a winged liner and some mascara, and that was it, I hope you like it!

Penso che questo trucco occhi stia benissimo con la pelle abbronzata, enfatizza molto la carnagione olivastra secondo me, ed è perfetto per una serata fuori al ristorante o al cinema!

Ho applicato un ombretto opaco color malva nella piega dell’occhio con un pennello da sfumatura come colore di transizione e l’ho sfumato molto bene, poi ho aggiunto un marrone più scuro per dare più profondità alla piega. Sulla palpebra ho applicato un ombretto color oro intenso molto luminoso, facendo attenzione a non andare sopra il colore già presente nella piega. Nell’angolo interno ed esterno dell’occhio ho applicato un ombretto color bronzo dorato. Per la rima inferiore ho scelto un fucsia per aggiungere un tocco di colore al look e ho completato il look con una riga di eyeliner e del mascara, ed è tutto, spero vi piaccia!

Easter bunny nail art

Hi fairies,

This year for easter I went for a classic nail art and I painted a cute bunny on my nails! For the background I chose a pastel blue nail polish but any pastel colors will do, and on my ring finger I painted a bunny. You can add as many or as little details as you like, it all depends on how patient you are! On the rest of my nails I just painted some grass strand at the bottom, and that was it, I hope you like it! Happy Easter!

Quest’anno per Pasqua ho scelto una nail art classica e ho dipinto un bel coniglietto sulle mie unghie! Per lo sfondo ho scelto uno smalto celeste pastello ma va bene qualsiasi colore pastello, e sull’anulare ho disegnato un coniglietto. Potete aggiungere quanti dettagli volete, pochi o tanti, dipende dalla pazienza che avete! Sul resto delle unghie ho aggiunto qualche filo d’erba sulle punte ed è tutto, spero vi piaccia! One product review: Colourpop Loose Filter setting powder

Colourpop is definitely one of my favorite low cost brands because of the quality and the wide range, they also add new products quite often and, even if they ship from the United States, shipping is free for order over 50 dollars so I never pay for shipping and my orders got rarely stopped at custom! They recently added face powder and bronzers to their range so I tried face powder, which is described as follows: Smooth, weightless loose powder sets makeup for all day wear without creasing, caking, or flashback Always 100% cruelty free and vegan, our formula was photo tested to never flashback, giving you selfie-ready skin in any light. Price 9.00 $  for 8.5 g.

What I like: it’s available in three different shades, I picked translucent because it matches every skin tone while the other two were definitely dark for me. a little bit goes a long way, the powder is very fine and silky, it doesn’t look cakey at all and it melts with your foundation or your skin if you don’t use foundation. It doesn’t set into fine lines, I use it in my under eye area as well and I’ve never experienced creasing. It keeps shine at bay for a good amount of time, I start getting shiny in my t-zone after 5-6 hours so I can’t complain at all! It gives that flawless look I love and for the price point I couldn’t ask for more!

What I don’t like: it’s easy to spill some product if you’re not careful with your brush, it happens with any loose powder and I don’t mind it much but some people definitely prefer compact ones. It’s not the best choice to put it in your purse for touch ups for the same reason: I always bring with me a compact powder when I’m outside.

My verdict: a great face powder that doesn’t cost a fortune, I will definitely repurchase it!

Colourpop è sicuramente uno dei marchi low cost che preferisco per via della qualità e della vasta gamma disponibile, inoltre aggiungono molto spesso nuovi prodotti e, pur spedendo dagli Stati Uniti, le spedizioni sono gratuite per ordini superiori ai 50 dollari quindi non pago mai le spese di spedizioni e i miei pacchi sono stati raramente fermati alla dogana! Hanno di recente aggiunto ciprie e bronzer in polvere, così ho acquistato la cipria che viene descritta così: una polvere morbida e leggera che fissa il trucco per tutto il giorno senza enfatizzare le rughette, appesantire o comparire nelle foto col flash. Sempre 100% vegan e cruelty free, la nostra foto è stata testata per non risultare bianca nelle foto, donandovi una pelle pronta per un selfie con qualsiasi tipo di illuminazione. Prezzo 9.00 $ per 8.5 gr.

Cosa mi piace: è disponibile in tre colorazioni, io ho scelto quella trasparente perché si adatta a tutte le carnagioni mentre le altre due erano decisamente troppo scure per me. ne basta davvero poca, la polvere è molto fine e setosa, non risulta per niente pesante e si fonde perfettamente col fondotinta o con la pelle se non usate fondotinta. Non enfatizza le rughette, la uso anche nel contorno occhi e non mi è mai successo. Tiene a bada la lucidità piuttosto a lungo, io inizio a lucidarmi nella zona T dopo 5-6 ore quindi non posso lamentarmi! Regala quell’aspetto impeccabile che mi piace tanto e, per il prezzo che ha,  non si può chiedere di più!

Cosa non mi piace: è facile far cadere un po’ di prodotto se non si fa attenzione col pennello, è una cosa che succede con tutte le ciprie in polvere e per me non è un grosso problema anche se so che molti preferiscono quelle compatte. Non è l’opzione migliore da portare in borsa per lo stesso motivo, io preferisco portarne una compatta.

Il mio verdetto: un’ottima cipria che non costa molto, la ricomprerò sicuramente!

Simple heart nail art

I love this nail art because it’s so easy yet it always gets a lot of compliments! You can use any color combo you like, this time I went for pastel shades so I painted my nails with pastel blue, my pinkie with mint green and my ring finger with a pale pink. On my ring finger I drew three black hearts in a diagonal line and then I filled them in with pink, blue and green leaving a black outline on each. That’s it, I hope you like it!

Mi piace questa nail art perchè è facilissima e quando la faccio ricevo sempre tanti complimenti! Potete usare qualsiasi combinazione di colori vogliate, io questa volta ho scelto dei colori pastello e ho usato uno smalto celeste pastello, uno verde menta sul mignolo e uno rosa pallido sull’anulare. Su quest’ultimo ho dipinto tre cuori in nero disposti in diagonale e poi li ho riempiti di rosa, celeste e verde lasciando un bordino nero su ognuno. È tutto, spero vi piaccia!

Eye makeup look Beetle colors

This makeup reminds me of the many iridescences of a beetle’s shell, it’s extremely colourful and bold! I first applied a duo chrome forest green in the inner and outer corner of my eye and I brought it up to my crease not blending it out but defining the crease by tracing a line; in the middle of my lid I patted a shimmery aqua pigment with golden shimmer to it. I further defined my crease with a precision brush and the green duochrome eyeshadow, and then I added some purple just along the line in my crease. On top of it I blended out a magenta pigment and an orange pigment, almost reaching my eyebrows. I tried something new by using red in the inner corner. I completed the look with a winged liner and mascara, and that was it, I hope you like it!

Questo makeup mi fa pensare alle tante iridescenze del guscio di uno scarabeo, è molto colorato e intenso! Come prima cosa ho applicato un ombretto verde bosco duo chrome nell’angolo interno ed esterno dell’occhio e l’ho portato fino alla piega dell’occhio ma non l’ho sfumato, ho bensì definito la piega tracciando una linea; al centro della palpebra mobile ho picchiettato un pigmento verde acqua con riflessi dorati. Ho ulteriormente definito la piega dell’occhio con un pennello di precisione e l’ombretto verde bosco duo chrome, e poi ho aggiunto un tocco di viola sulla linea della piega. Al di sopra ho sfumato un pigmento magenta e poi uno arancione, raggiungendo quasi le sopracciglia. Ho voluto provare qualcosa di nuovo usando un ombretto rosso nell’angolo interno. Ho completato il look con una riga di eyeliner e del mascara, ed è tutto, spero vi piaccia!

One product review wet n wild photo focus foundation

I’m a foundation junkie, when a new one is launched I can’t help buy trying it even if I already have too many of them! It’s an addiction, I know, but at least it’s not bad for my health, only for my wallet!

I don’t have many wet n wild products so I got very curious about this low cost foundation; let’s see how it’s described:  Your skin, only better. Wet n Wild's high-performing, skin-perfecting Photo Focus Foundation underwent major road testing under seven different photo lighting conditions to deliver flawless camera-ready makeup every time. Specially made with a matte, light-diffusing complex to give your skin #nofilter perfection. Price 5.99 $.

What I like: I think the shade range is pretty wide considering it’s a low cost product, and I also like the squared glass bottle that doesn’t look cheap at all. I like the texture of this foundation, it is liquid but not runny, it’s easy to blend and it gives you time to apply it before setting. It is buildable, you can apply just one layer for a more natural look and you can apply two or three for full coverage and you don’t have to worry, it won’t look cakey and it won’t set into fine lines! It’s great for combo to oily skin like mine because it’s got a matte finish but it’s not flat and it also lighten up the skin in a very natural and subtle way. It minimizes pores and it looks good after several hours of wearing, which I was impressed about. It does look great in photos, skin looks totally flawless.

What I don’t like: it comes with a spatula applicator which is not my favorite because when there isn’t much product left in the bottle it’s hard to grab it. It’s got a strong smell that someone might not like, it’s not an issue for me but it could be if you’re sensitive to smells.

My verdict: I definitely recommend it for combo to oily skin, it’s not expensive and it performs really well, better than more expensive foundations I’d say!

Io sono malata per i fondotinta, quando ne esce uno nuovo non riesco a fare a meno di provarlo anche se ne ho già troppi! So che è una dipendenza, ma almeno non fa male alla salute, solo al portafogli!

Non possiedo molti prodotti wet n wild, ecco perché questo fondotinta  low cost mi ha incuriosito molto; vediamo come viene descritto: Per la tua pelle, solo il meglio. Questo fondotinta offre un trucco impeccabile perfetto per essere fotografato. La sua innovativa formula lascia un finish matt sul viso. Non avrai bisogno di filtri! Oil Free.  Prezzo 5.99 $.

Cosa mi piace: penso che la gamma colori sia piuttosto ampia per un prodotto low cost, e mi piace anche la bottiglia quadrata in vetro che non ha assolutamente un aspetto economico. Mi piace la consistenza di questo fondotinta, che è liquida ma non troppo, è facile da sfumare e dà il tempo di lavorarlo prima di fissarsi. È modulabile, se ne può applicare solo uno strato per un effetto naturale oppure se ne possono applicare due o tre per ottenere una coprenza totale, senza doversi preoccupare di avere un risultato pesante o che il prodotto vada a enfatizzare le rughette di espressione! È ideale per pelli miste e grasse come la mia, perché ha una finitura opaca ma non piatta e dona alla pelle una luminosità naturale molto discreta. Minimizza i pori e, anche dopo ore, risulta ancora perfetto, cosa che mi ha colpito molto. Nelle fotografie vi dona una pelle levigatissima.

Cosa non mi piace: ha un applicatore a spatola che non amo particolarmente perché, quando rimane poco prodotto nella bottiglia, è difficile prelevarlo. Ha un profumo intenso che a qualcuno potrebbe non piacere,  per me non è un problema ma potrebbe esserlo se siete sensibili agli odori.

Il mio verdetto:  lo consiglio senza riserve a chi ha la pelle mista o grassa, non costa molto e ha ottime prestazioni, a volte migliori di quelle di fondotinta più costosi!
