You apply it in the evening after cleansing your skin only where needed. I've been using it for about ten days and it's shrunk pores on my cheeks, the area where I have some enlarged ones, my skin is overall firmer and glowy. I love its earthy smell, it gets absorbed fast without feeling sticky, it's actually a good base for the cream I apply on top of it.A little goes a long way, and it's got a pump applicator which prevents you to waste it and it's also the most hygienic one.

 

Purete mask: a dermaceutic purifying beauty mask with green clay, Australian green tea and propolis. It absorbs imperfections and it keeps shine at bay by reducing its production from the first application. It rebalances cellular mechanism keeping the skin hydrated and lightening acne scars. When used consistently it reduces black heads and break outs. with eucaliptus, a natural antibacterial, lavender, that has soothing properties, and quince extract. I use it weekly and I've noticed my skin is less oily, less shiny, more toned, pores are minimised, and it helps dry imperfections. when used regularly improves skin texture and reduces sebum production. It's got a very pleasant smell, when I use it I feel like I'm pampering myself! it's got a gel-like texture, light, easy to apply. You keep it on till it dries and then you'll rinse it with warm water. It's now part of my skin care and I couldn't do without it!

Ogni singola box di World of Beauty è eccezionale, si apre un nuovo mondo ogni volta che se ne riceve una e tutti i sensi vengono coinvolti: olfatto, tatto, vista, è un’esperienza unica!

Nella box c’è tutto il necessario per la mia skin care e ho già iniziato a usare i prodotti! Ecco cosa contiene:

 

dermoliquido:  deterge in modo delicato e profondo senza essere aggressivo, formulato con estratti di malva che hanno un effetto emolliente e antinfiammatorio. Chi ha la pelle grassa come me sa quanto sia importante la detersione: deve essere profonda ma non aggressiva perché anche la pelle grassa, al contrario di quanto si potrebbe immaginare, ha bisogno di essere idratata. Un detergente troppo aggressivo, invece, potrebbe depauperarla. Io detergo il viso mattina e sera e trovo che il dermoliquido sia il prodotto ideale: a base di estratti di malva, lenisce e idrata in profondità e può essere usato tutti i giorni come faccio io! 

 

Clear pores serum: un vero e proprio concentrato di bellezza formulato con estratti vegetali naturali che aiutano a migliorare la pelle con imperfezioni e punti neri, principali problemi di chi ha la pelle grassa. Si applica la sera nelle zone che lo richiedono, dopo aver deterso la pelle col dermoliquido. 

Usandolo da circa dieci giorni ho notato che i pori sulle guance, la zona dove sono visibili, sono meno visibili, la pelle è più luminosa e compatta. Ha un buonissimo profumo erboso e si assorbe velocemente senza lasciare la pelle appiccicosa, anzi è un’ottima base per la crema che vado ad applicare subito dopo! Ne basta poco per tutto il viso, ha un applicatore a pompetta che garantisce la massima igiene ed evita gli sprechi. 

 

Purete mask: una maschera di bellezza dermaceutica purificante che contiene argilla verde, propoli e te verde australiano. Assorbe e secca le imperfezioni e tiene a bada la lucidità riducendo la produzione di sebo in eccesso sin dalla prima applicazione.riequilibra il meccanismo cellulare mantenendo la pelle al giusto livello di idratazione e schiarendo le cicatrici acneiche. Se usata costantemente riduce punti neri e comedoni. 

Contiene i principi attivi dell’eucalipto, antibatterico, della lavanda, dalle proprietà lenitive, e dell’estratto di mela cotogna. La uso una volta a settimana e noto che la pelle produce meno sebo, si lucida meno, è più compatta, i pori sono meno visibili e le impurità si asciugano. Usata costantemente migliora la grana della pelle e regola la produzione sebacea. Il profumo è molto gradevole, direi rilassante, applicarla equivale a una vera e propria coccola! La consistenza è quasi gelatinosa, leggera, si stende con facilità e si tiene in posa finché non si asciuga. Ormai è uno step fondamentale nella mia skin care, non posso farne a meno🙂

Purete acid cream: una crema opacizzante davvero fantastica che riequilibra il ph della pelle, riduce la produzione di sebo e, di conseguenza, la lucidità che, lo sappiamo bene, è uno dei problemi principali per chi ha la pelle grassa. Si può usare anche come crema dopo rasatura specialmente da chi ha la pelle sensibile che si arrossa facilmente dato che ha proprietà lenitive. Eye makeup look pastel rainbow

I tried a pastel rainbow look today and I like the result because it’s not too bright but it’s still colourful and it’s not too difficult to do! I first applied a very light taupe eyeshadow in my crease and I blended it out very well; in my outer corner I applied a periwinkle eyeshadow followed by a lilac and I blended where the two shades met. The key to this look is blending each shade into the next one to get a seamless result with no harsh lines so take your favorite blending brush and ‘blend blend blend’! on my lid I then applied a yellow eyeshadow and a lime green one. I followed the same pattern in my lower lashline and I completed the look with a winged liner and some mascara and that was it, I hope you like it!

Oggi ho provato un look arcobaleno usando dei colori pastello e il risultato mi piace perché non è troppo intenso ma è comunque colorato e non è nemmeno troppo difficile da realizzare! Come prima cosa ho applicato un ombretto color talpa chiaro nella piega dell’occhio e l’ho sfumato molto bene; nell’angolo esterno della palpebra mobile ho applicato un ombretto color pervinca seguito da un lilla e ho sfumato molto bene laddove i due colori si incontravano. Il segreto di questo look sta nello sfumare bene ogni tonalità nella successiva per ottenere un risultato omogeneo senza linee nette, quindi prendete il vostro pennello da sfumatura preferito e ‘sfumate, sfumate, sfumate’! sulla palpebra ho poi applicato un ombretto giallo e uno verde lime. Ho seguito lo stesso ordine nella palpebra inferiore e ho completato il look con una riga di eyeliner e un po’ di mascara ed è tutto, spero vi piaccia!

 

One product review the ordinary resveratrol 3%

Have you tried any The Ordinary products? A couple of years ago everybody and their mama was talking about this brand, now not so much but I think their products are interesting and low cost and they allow people on a budget to have a good skin care routine. It can be a bit intimidating to choose from their wide range but I suggest you to surf their website because you’ll find all the info you need on each and every product.

Today we’ll talk about Resveratrol 3% , here’s how it’s described: This formula combines very high concentrations of two of the most powerful and important antioxidants in skincare: Resveratrol and Ferulic Acid. Resveratrol is a natural phenol found in several plants and our pure source is 100% derived from Japanese Knotweed. Ferulic Acid is a high-potency phytochemical antioxidant found naturally in walls of plant cells.

Skincare formulations generally incorporate Resveratrol at 1% or less and Ferulic Acid at 0.5% or less. This formula contains each at 3%, an exceptionally high concentration.

Note: Water can impair the stability of any antioxidant. This formula does not contain any water, silicones, oils or alcohol. Price 7.20 €

So this product is an antioxidant which means it protects cells from damage caused by free radicals, which are responsible for skin ageing. Ingredients are just Propanediol, Resveratrol, Ferulic Acid, no chemicals and no silicone for those who are after a more natural skin care. I use it in the evening on cleansed skin, I apply two or three drops of the product and I massage it in till it’s completely absorbed and then I apply a moisturizing cream. It gets absorbed fast but my skin feels a bit oily afterwards; once I massage my moisturizer the feeling goes away. It can also be mixed with cream but I prefer to do it this way. It gives my skin a natural glow and a firmness it didn’t have before, I’ve noticed an improvement after one month of daily use and I am really happy and impressed with it!

It’s important to incorporate it in your skin care routine and to be consistent to see results. It’s amazing how effective this product is considering how cheap it is, it does work really well, better than many expensive products I’ve tried in the past!

Resveratrol protects skin from effects of sunlight which is one of the main factor of ageing, it also helps relieving redness or rash as it’s got anti inflammatory property. It’s suitable for sensitive skin as it’s not aggressive at all.

Ferulic acid, the other ingredient, absorbs ultraviolet waves, it prevents wrinkles and reduces pigmentation. I’ve noticed my skin looks clearer and whiter even though I don’t have hyperpigmentation.

It can be used in combo with products containing Vitamin C as ferulic acid helps enhance the effect of other antioxidants.

Avete provato qualche prodotto di The Ordinary? Qualche anno fa ne parlavano tutti, adesso se ne parla un po’ meno ma, secondo me, i loro prodotti sono interessanti e non costano molto, permettendo anche a chi non può spendere una fortuna di prendersi cura della propria pelle. All’inizio dover scegliere tra la loro vasta gamma di prodotti può mettere in difficoltà, ma vi consiglio di dare un’occhiata al loro sito e di navigare con calma perché ci sono tutte le informazioni su ogni singolo prodotto.

Oggi parliamo del Resveratrol 3%, che viene descritto così: questa forma unisce altissime concentrazioni di due dei più potenti e importanti antiossidanti usati nella skincare, resveratrolo e acido ferulico. Il resveratrolo è un fenolo naturale che si trova in diverse piante e quello usato dal brand deriva al 100%dall’alga chiamata poligono del Giappone. L’acido ferulico è un potente antiossidante di origine vegetale che si trova nelle parete delle cellule vegetali.

In genere nei prodotti di skin care si trova il resveratrolo all’1% o meno e l’acido ferulico allo 0,5% o meno. Qui la percentuale è del 3%, quindi una concentrazione eccezionalmente alta.

Nota bene: l’acqua può minare la stabilità di qualsiasi antiossidante. In questa formulazione non è presente acqua, siliconi, oli o alcol. Prezzo 7.20 €.

Quindi questo prodotto è un antiossidante, che vuol dire che protegge le cellule dai danni causati dai radicali liberi, responsabili dell’invecchiamento. Contiene solo resveratrolo, acido ferulico e propanediolo, non ci sono siliconi, da sottolineare per chi opta per una skincare naturale.

Io la uso la sera dopo aver deterso la pelle, e ne applico due o tre gocce sul viso, le massaggio finchè non si sono completamente assorbite e poi procedo usando la mia crema idratante. Il prodotto si assorbe velocemente ma mi lascia la pelle leggermente unta, sensazione che svanisce dopo l’applicazione della crema idratante. Può anche essere mischiato con la crema ma io preferisco applicare i prodotti separatamente. Regala alla mia pelle una luminosità e un turgore che prima non aveva, ho notato un netto miglioramento dopo un mese di uso costante, e sono rimasta molto soddisfatta!

Per vedere i risultati è importante avere costanza e incorporarlo nella propria skin care routine. A mio parere è fantastico quanto sia efficace e, considerando il prezzo davvero basso, funziona meglio di tanti prodotti molto più costosi che ho provato in passato!

Il resveratrolo protegge la pelle dai danni dei raggi solari, uno dei principali responsabili dell’invecchiamento, e aiuta a lenire rossori o sfoghi cutanei dal momento che possiede proprietà anti infiammatorie.

L’acido ferulico, l’altro ingrediente, assorbe i raggi ultravioletti, previene le rughe e riduce le macchie scure e, nonostante io non ne abbia, ho notato che la pelle è più chiara e luminosa.

Si può usare abbinato a prodotti che contengono vitamina C perché l’acido ferulico ne potenzia l’effetto antiossidante.

 

 

 

 

 

Northern lights- aurora boreale nail art

I’ve been lucky enough to watch northern lights in Lapland and it’s one of the most breathtaking, beautiful and magic things I’ve ever seen in my life! It really shows you how wonderful nature is and I recommend you to take a trip to Lapland if you can because northern lights are just magical!

For this nail art I first applied two coat of a black nail polish on all my nails and then I used a makeup sponge to paint the northern lights. I used pink, white and light blue but I could have used green and purple as well as they often show in northern lights. I patted my nails two or three times till I get the coverage I was looking for, and then I painted some trees in black. That’s it, I hope you like it!

Sono stata così fortunata da poter vedere l’aurora boreale in Lapponia ed è una delle cose più belle, mozzafiato e magica che io abbia mai visto in tutta la mia vita! Ci fa davvero capire quanto sia meravigliosa la natura e, se avete la possibilità, vi consiglio di andare in Lapponia perché l’aurora boreale è uno spettacolo da vedere!

Per questa nail art ho applicato due passate di smalto nero su tutte le unghie e poi ho usato una spugnetta per dipingere l’aurora boreale. Ho usato il rosa, il bianco e il celeste ma avrei potuto anche usare il verde e il viola perché sono colori che compaiono spesso. Ho picchiettato le unghie due o tre volte, fino a ottenere la copertura che volevo, e poi ho disegnato qualche albero usando il nero. È tutto, spero vi piaccia!

Eye makeup look snowy liner

this is a very simple look, you’ll just need two eyeshadows basically, but I really like it and it sets my mood into a wintry mode! I can’t wait for winter to come, I love the weather, Christmas, drinking tea in front of the fireplace, I love everything!

I first applied a white sticky base all over my lid to make eyeshadows pop, and then with a small blending brush I applied a pastel blue in the outer corner of my eye and in my crease. I blended it upwards almost till my brow. I cut my crease with Makeup revolution cut crease canvas and on top of this product I used a shimmery eyeshadow the same shade of the matte, just to create a slight contrast using different finishes.

I completed the look with a white winged liner and some mascara, and that was it, I hope you like it!

Questo è un look molto semplice che richiede praticamente l’uso di soli due ombretti, ma mi piace molto e mi fa entrare nell’atmosfera invernale! Non vedo l’ora che arrivi l’inverno, adoro il clima, il Natale, sorseggiare del tè di fronte al camino, mi piace tutto!

Come prima cosa ho applicato una base cremosa bianca sulla palpebra per rendere vibranti gli ombretti, poi con un piccolo pennello da sfumatura ho applicato un ombretto celeste pastello nell’angolo esterno dell’occhio e nella piega dell’occhio. L’ho sfumato verso l’alto fino quasi a raggiungere le sopracciglia. Ho definito la piega dell’occhio usando Makeup revolution cut crease canvas e su questo prodotto ho usato un ombretto luminoso nella stessa tonalità di quello opaco, semplicemente per creare un leggero contrasto usando finiture diverse.

Ho completato il look con una riga bianca di eyeliner e del mascara, ed è tutto, spero vi piaccia!

I don’t know about you but I find it very hard to get good grey eyeshadows, they’re either chalky or poor pigmented, I don’t know if it’s because grey isn’t a trending color right now but there are people who love it and don’t love warm shades like me!

Colourpop helped me out with this palette, a true gem in my opinion, the blowin’ smoke palette!

Let’s see how it’s described: This grayscale palette is a glam smokey eye lover’s dream. With 3 glitzy metallics and 6 blendable matte eyeshadows, create the easiest smokey eyes ever. Price 12 $ now on sale at 9$.

 What I like: I like that it’s a greyscale palette with matte and shimmery shades that allow to create a classic grey smokey and some fun looks with a bit of shimmer, it’s very versatile and you can’t beat that for 12 dollars!

There are six mattes that perform quite well although they’re a bit chalky and they require a bit of an effort to achieve a smoothless blending. 

What I don’t like: they need a good eyeshadow base else they fade away during the day and they might look ‘muddy’. As I said they’re not super easy to blend but it’s to be expected for this price point. There’s some fall out but I do my eyemakeup first and then I clean my under eye area and the problem is solved!

My verdict: I would repurchase because now I have a good range of grey shades and I only paid 12 $ for this palette. There is the Cremated palette by Jeffree Star with even more grey shades and some neutrals at 64.99 $ but I don’t know if I buy it because I don’t think I really need it.

Non so se anche per voi è lo stesso ma io trovo molto difficile reperire ombretti grigi, sono polverosi o poco pigmentati, probabilmente perché al momento il grigio non è uno dei colori più trendy, però ci sono anche persone che non amano le tonalità calde come me!

Colourpop mi è venuta in aiuto con questa palette, un vero gioiellino secondo me, la blowin’ smoke palette!

Vediamo come viene descritta: questa palette sulla scala dei grigi è il sogno degli amanti dello smokey eye. Con 3 luminosi colori metallici e sei ombretti matte molto sfumabili, si può creare lo smokey eye più semplice di sempre. Prezzo 12 $ ora in saldo a 9$.

Cosa mi piace: contiene diverse tonalità di grigi, sia matte che shimmer, che permettono di creare un classico smokey eye grigio ma anche dei look divertenti con un tocco di luminosità, la trovo molto versatile e per il prezzo che ha, 12 dollari, non ha rivali!

Contiene sei tonalità opache che hanno una buona resa anche se sono leggermente polverose e richiedono un po’ di sforzo per ottenere una sfumatura omogenea.

Cosa non mi piace: hanno bisogno di una buona base per ombretti altrimenti sbiadiscono nell’arco della giornata e si ottiene l’effetto ‘fangoso’. Come ho detto in precedenza non sono facilissimi da sfumare ma per il prezzo del prodotto ce lo si poteva aspettare. C’è del fall out ma io realizzo prima il trucco occhi e poi pulisco la zona perioculare così risolvo il problema!

Il mio verdetto: la riacquisterei perché adesso ho un’ampia gamma di ombretti grigi e ho speso solo 12 $ per questa palette. C’è anche la Cremated di Jeffree Star, con una gamma più vasta di grigi e anche dei toni neutri che costa 64.99 $ ma non so se la comprerò perché non ne ho veramente bisogno.

Essence I love stage eyeshadow base review

The product we’re going to talk about today is low cost but it performs like high end products or at least that’s what I read and heard on Instagram and youtube, therefore I purchased it to try it out and see if it was as good as people claim.

Essence I love stage primer is described as follows: The i love stage – eyeshadow base is the star of the show! It is multifunctional and can either be used as a base for concealer or eyeshadow. The creamy texture won’t settle in the crease of your eyelid - it makes every eyeshadow last longer and intensifies the color. For a smooth eye make-up that is just waiting for its grand appearance in the spotlight!

 

What l like: it does its job, my eyeshadows don’t crease nor fade during the day so for the price point is absolutely approved! The shade is a medium beige that covers any discolorations and prepares the lid for makeup. It’s got the right consistency and it doesn’t dry till the end. It works fine as concealer in the under eye area if you have mild dark circles.

 

What I don’t like: it comes in just one shade and it’s a bit dark for me, I’d love for them to add at least another shade but it’s a low cost product so I can’t expect too much. 

 

My verdict: I will definitely repurchased it over more expensive eye primers because it does its job and I cant ask for more!

il prodotto di cui parliamo oggi è economico ma si comporta come prodotti più costosi o, almeno, questo è quello che ho letto e sentito su Instagram e youtube, motivo per cui l’ho comprato, per provarlo e vedere se fosse davvero valido come dicevano.

Essence I love stage primer viene descritto così: l’eye primer i love stage è la stella dello spettacolo! È multifunzionale e può essere usato sia come base per ombretti che come correttore. La texture cremosa non si insinua nelle pieghette della palpebra- ma fa durare di più qualsiasi ombretto e ne intensifica il colore. Per un makeup impeccabile che non aspetta altro di fare la sua entrata trionfale sotto i riflettori!

 

Cosa mi piace: fa quello che promette, i miei ombretti non si infilano nelle pieghette e non perdono di intensità nell’arco della giornata, quindi per il prezzo che ha è decisamente promosso! È di un colore beige che copre qualsiasi discromia e prepara la palpebra al trucco. Ha la giusta consistenza e non si secca fino a che non finisce. È anche un discreto correttore della zona perioculare se si hanno delle occhiaie appena accennate.

Cosa non mi piace: è disponibile in una sola tonalità che, per me, è un po’ scura, quindi mi piacerebbe che ne venisse aggiunta almeno un’altra anche se, essendo davvero molto economico, non si può pretendere troppo.

 

Il mio verdetto: lo acquisterò sicuramente preferendolo a primer più costosi perché è efficace, e non credo di poter chiedere di più!

 

 

Lavender geometric nail art

Do you like geometric nail arts? I find them quite challenging because lines have to be straight and it’s not always easy to do so! For this nail art I chose a baby pink background and I topped it with a glittery nail polish, and then I drew a horizontal line starting from the middle of my nail and I went down with a vertical line. I thickened it a bit and then I drew the same shape on the other side and I made it a bit smaller. I filled it in with lavender and that’s it, I hope you like it!

Vi piacciono le nail art geometriche? Io le trovo abbastanza stimolanti perché le linee devono essere dritte e non è sempre facile riuscirci! Per questa nail art ho scelto uno sfondo rosa confetto su cui ho dato una passata di smalto glitterato, e poi ho disegnato una linea orizzontale originante dalla metà dell’unghia e sono scesa fino alla punta con una linea verticale. L’ho ispessita un po’ e ho disegnato la stessa forma dall’altro lato, semplicemente facendola più piccola. Ho riempito lo spazio con del lavanda, ed è tutto, spero vi piaccia!

One Product Review: Kiko matte fusion pressed powder

Having oily skin means I need to keep shine at bay with face powder, but to tell you the truth it’s not easy to find a good one. Going high end isn’t always the right thing because paying more doesn’t mean you’ll get the result you were looking for. In fact, I found great low cost face powders that I repurchased several times. 

I usually have no complaints about Kiko face powders so I decided to try the matte fusion one which is described as follows: Pressed powder with a natural matte finish, enriched with vitamin E and argan oil that contain nourishing and protective properties. The creamy and enveloping texture adheres perfectly to the skin without leaving marks.

When applied, the colour glides on and blends easily. It is pleasing to the touch.

What I like: i love the classy and sleek packaging, it doesn’t take much room in my purse and it’s beautiful to look at. There’s a big mirror inside so touching up your makeup is really easy. The texture is smooth, there’s no fall out, it’s easy to apply evenly, it’s not patchy at all. It minimizes pores, mattifies and even out any minor imperfection. It’s not cakey but it’s buildable and it can be worn on its own for a natural look: in summer I apply a thin layer of the product to mattify my skin and I’m good to go! Lasting power is average, which means it holds on for 4-5 hours and then I start to get shiny in my t-zone.

What I don’t like: if you have very oily skin you might need to touch it up after 3-4 hours, but there’s an applicator included that comes in really handy. It’s not high coverage so if you have discoloration or break out you might need concealer first.

My verdict: definitely a good face powder that’s not too expensive, I like it for everyday use and for travelling, I have already repurchased it.

Avere la pelle grassa significa dover tenere a bada la lucidità con una polvere viso ma, a dire la verità, non è facile trovarne una valida. Orientarsi verso prodotti di alta profumeria non sempre è la scelta giusta perché pagare di più non garantisce che otteniate il risultato sperato. Anzi, io ho trovato polveri viso low cost che per me sono più efficaci di quelle costose e le ho acquistate più e più volte.

Di solito mi trovo bene con le polveri viso della Kiko e ho voluto provare anche la matte fusion, che viene così descritta: Cipria compatta dal finish matte naturale arricchita con vitamina E e olio d’argan dalle proprietà nutrienti e protettive. La texture, avvolgente e cremosa, aderisce perfettamente alla pelle senza segnare.

In applicazione, il colore scorre con leggerezza e si sfuma con facilità. Il tocco è piacevole al tatto.

Cosa mi piace: mi piace la confezione elegante e sottile che occupa poco spazio in borsa ed è anche bella da vedere. All’interno c’è un grande specchio che rende semplici i ritocchi. La polvere è setosa, facile da stendere, non è farinosa, non si applica a chiazze. Minimizza i pori, opacizza e uniforma le piccole imperfezioni. Non fa effetto mascherone ma si può stratificare oppure usare da sola per un look naturale: in estate io ne applico un velo senza bisogno del fondotinta. Ha una durata media, cioè dura 4-5 ore dopodiché comincio a lucidarmi nella zona T.

Cosa non mi piace: se avete la pelle molto grassa potreste aver bisogno di ritoccarla dopo 3-4 ore, ma nella confezione c’è un praticissimo applicatore che risulta davvero comodo. Non ha una coprenza elevata, se avete discromie evidenti o cicatrici acneiche consiglio di applicare prima un correttore.

Il mio verdetto: è sicuramente una buona polvere viso, non troppo costosa, ideale da usare per tutti i giorni e quando si viaggia. Io l’ho già riacquistata.
