Maybelline the falsies mascara review

When it comes to mascaras I usually pick quality brands because after trying so many , both high end and drugstore brands, I came to the conclusion that I’d rather spend a bit more and get volume and longer lashes than go cheap and basically looking like l’m not wearing any mascara or , even worse, my lashes look clumpy and not longer than they really are so at that point it’s better going without any .

There are drugstore brands that aren’t too bad but all in all if you want that doll like effect you need to go for a high quality brand . I still try drugstore brands because I give them a chance and I found out this one , Maybelline the falsies. Let’s see how Maybelline describes it:

What l like about it:

The wand shape, curved, makes the application easy even on tiny and bottom lashes. I love how my lashes look, they look longer and fuller and it definitely gives you that doll lashes look! The texture isn’t too thick so you can layer it on without risking to get your lashes clumped with it , it goes on smoothly and at the same time it’s rich !

The final look is absolutely gorgeous and very close to a fake lashes effect without the need to actually put falsies on!

It gets easily away with warm water , you don’t need to rub your eyes.

What l don’t like about it:

It gets dry rather fast, after a couple of months , and when it does it’s clumpy and you need to repurchase it .

Of course the downside of being washable is it can smudge after a whole day or if you sweat a lot.

My verdict:

It’s a very good product I’d say hands down the best drugstore mascara l’ve tried so far. I definitely recommend it!

Quando si parla di mascara devo dire che mi oriento verso marche di qualità dal momento che ne ho provati moltissimi, sia di media che alta qualità, e sono arrivata alla conclusione che preferisco spendere un po’ di più ed avere le ciglia più lunghe e folte, che spendere meno e praticamente non vedere nessuna differenza tra quando ho messo il mascara e quando non l’ho messo oppure,ancora peggio, avere grumi sulle ciglia e nessun volume: meglio non metterlo per niente secondo me!

Ci sono marche poco costose che non sono male ma se volete quell’effetto “occhi da bambola” bisogna spendere un po’ di più. Io comunque continuo a provare marche non troppo care, gli do una possibilità, ed infatti ho trovato il Mascara maybelline the falsies. Vediamo come viene descritto dalla Maybelline:

Il mascara The falsies vi dona un effetto ciglia finte, regalandovi delle ciglia piene, voluminose, separate , senza nessun dislivello da qualunque angolazione le guardiate.

La formula arricchita con pro cheratina e fibre si va ad attaccare su ciglia che nemmeno voi sapevate di avere e crea un look “ciglia finte” con ciglia che risultano infoltite ed allungate.

Il nostro applicatore brevettato separa le ciglia e fa si che il prodotto si depositi generosamente. Il manico flessibile aiuta ad ottenere un effetto extra volume senza che si formino grumi.

Cosa mi piace :

la forma dell’applicatore, leggermente curva, rende l’applicazione molto semplice anche agli angoli e sulle ciglia inferiori. Mi piace molto l’effetto sulle mie ciglia, che sono più piene e voluminose e più lunghe, hanno quell’effetto “bambola” che il mascara promette! La consistenza del prodotto non è troppo densa e questo permette di applicare più strati senza che si formino grumi , è allo stesso tempo corposo ma non pastoso!

Sono molto soddisfatta del risultato finale, che è molto simile all’effetto ciglia finte senza il bisogno di indossare ciglia finte!

Viene via facilmente anche semplicemente con un po’ di acqua tiepida, senza bisogno di strofinare gli occhi.

Cosa non mi piace:

si secca abbastanza velocemente, in un paio di mesi, e a quel punto diventa grumoso e va ricomprato .

Il lato negativo del fatto che viene via molto facilmente è che se si suda o dopo averlo indossato per un’intera giornata può sbavare leggermente.

Giudizio finale:

E’ un ottimo prodotto, decisamente il migliore che ho provato fino adesso in questa fascia di prezzo, lo consiglio senza ombra di dubbio!
