My top 5 eyeshadows

I am late for this, I know, but I so wanted to post my top 5 eyeshadows list to share with you my favourites, those colors I am really in love with and I can’t live without anymore! Last year I’ve tried many new products and some of them really impressed me for their quality and color pay off, so without any further ado …let’s get started!

5. essence guerrilla gardening 03 plant the planet: a gorgeous lime green with a fabulous color pay off! It was the first ( and only one so far) essence eyeshadow in my collection , I got it because l loved the color, it was pretty unique and as it was very cheap I decided to buy it. I wasn’t expecting much but oh boy I was wrong! It’s very pigmented , it doesn’t apply patchy and it stays on for hours , it’s definitely worth the money! I like it really much!

4. h&m c’est chic eyeshadows quad: it’s a very nice palette with a baby pink, a hazelnut brown, a chocolate brown and a charcoal grey. They are all a bit shimmery, the darkest brown has got golden particles in it, they apply smoothly and they are very pigmented. They stay on for 6-8 hours, they can be easily blended. You can realize a classic smoky eye , a more natural look or just use it, as l often do, to intensify the crease. The baby pink is also perfect as highlight. 

3. Naked basics palette : it’s the first naked palette I bought, and I wasn’t sure I liked it because I rather go for vibrant colors than neutral ones, but I decided to purchase it as I didn’t own any matte and neutral eyeshadow. To my surprise it was love at first sight! They are buttery and easy to blend, colors are “go to” you can use everyday for a subtle look , or you can mix and match them with vibrant shades to tone them down or to blend edges out! It’s a must have, I use some of the colors almost everyday.

2. Mac vanilla pigment : you’ve sure heard others praise it , it’s very famous, maybe it was more in the past, I’ve noticed there are trends on blogs and youtube so you’ve got like hundreds reviews of the same product at the same time and, after a while, no one talks about it anymore! Anyway I don’t follow trends and I love this pigment! It is a buttery golden color with a gold/pink shimmer to it that makes it perfect to highlight, to add sparkle to the inner corner, to create a very glamorous and sophisticate look when applied on your lid with some sparkles on top, it’s also perfect matched with golden or soft brown or with pink . for a more dramatic look it can be paired with black. It’s very versatile, smooth and easy to blend. I love it! I love pigments in general, l know some finds it hard to apply them because of fall out, but it’s easily fixed by patting them on and by applying your foundation after your eye makeup!

1. kiko infinity eyeshadows : I can’t deny I’m obsessed with them! Since I’ve tried them I keep adding new shades to my collection and I can’t seem to stop ( l actually don’t want to) ! They are my absolute favourite of the year, the formula is improved compared to permanent kiko eyeshadow collection which is, actuallu, good,and they are amazing, in my opinion they can be compared to more expensive eyeshadows without being second to them. The pigmentation is out of this world, you barely touch them to get your finger completely saturated with color, they are so buttery and smooth and so blendable, and they come in so many shades! I also like you can pick your own palette and customize it to your liking. You can start with a 3 pieces palette up to a 24 palette, to each its own! Price is very affordable, 4.90 € each, and quality/price ratio is great!

Lo so che sono in ritardo, ma volevo ugualmente condividere con voi la lista dei miei 5 ombretti preferiti, quelli di cui sono innamorata e di cui non posso fare a meno! Lo scorso anno ne ho provati diversi, ed alcuni mi hanno veramente colpito, sia per la qualità che la pigmentazione, quindi…senza ulteriori indugi…cominciamo!

5. essence guerrilla gardening 03 plant the planet : un bellissimo verde lime con un’ottima pigmentazione! E’ stato il primo ( ed unico) ombretto essence che ho comprato, non appena l’ho visto sono stata colpita dal colore, non comune, ed essendo il prezzo molto basso ho deciso di prenderlo . non mi aspettavo grandi cose da lui, ma sbagliavo! È molto pigmentato, si applica uniformemente e dura per ore quindi, considerando che costava 1.79 €, direi che è sicuramente un prodotto valido, mi piace molto!

4. h&m c’est chic eyeshadows quad: è una palette molto carina, con un rosa baby, un color nocciola, un marrone cioccolata ed un grigio piombo. Tutti i colori hanno una finitura leggermente shimmer, il marrone più scuro ha delle particelle dorate , sono tutti di facile stesura e con una buona pigmentazione. Durano circa 6-8 ore e si sfumano facilmente. Si può realizzare uno smoky eye, oppure un trucco più naturale utilizzando i marroni, o ancora, come faccio spesso, usarli per intensificare il colore nella piega dell’occhio. Il rosa lo uso anche come highlight.

3.naked basics palette: è stata la prima palette della linea naked che ho comprato, e non ero sicura che facesse al caso mio perché preferisco colori più accesi rispetto a colori neutri, ma alla fine ho deciso di prenderla proprio perché non avevo quasi nessun colore neutro e matte. Con mia grande sorpresa è stato amore a prima vista! I colori sono setosi e facili da sfumare, sono quei colori che possono essere usati tutti i giorni per un look curato ma non vistoso, oppure si possono abbinare a tonalità molto accese per smorzarle un po’ , o anche per sfumare meglio colori molto scuri, insomma è un passepartout, da avere assolutamente!

2. Mac vanilla pigment: ne avete sicuramente sentito parlare e tesserne le lodi, è uno dei pigmenti mac più famosi, forse lo era di più in passato, ho notato che su youtube e sui blog ci sono dei trend che vanno ad ondate: tutti parlano e recensiscono lo stesso prodotto nello stesso periodo e poi, improvvisamente, di quel prodotto non se ne parla più! Io non seguo i trend e questo pigmento lo amo! E’ un color burro con riflessi rosa dorati che lo rendono perfetto come illuminante , oltre che per creare un punto luce all’angolo interno dell’occhio. Lo trovo molto indicato per realizzare un look sofisticato, applicandolo su tutta la palpebra mobile ed aggiungendo un po’ di glitters, ed è anche perfetto abbinato al color oro o al rosa. Per un look più drammatico si abbina benissimo col nero. È molto versatile, setoso e facile da sfumare. So che per alcune applicare i pigmenti risulta difficile, ma si può ovviare facilmente al problema applicandoli pressandoli sulla palpebra ed anche truccando il viso solo dopo aver terminato il trucco occhi.

1. kiko infinity eyeshadows: eh si, non posso negarlo, sono la mia ossessione! Da quando li ho provati continuo a comprarne di nuovi e non riesco a smettere ( diciamo proprio che non voglio!) Sono i miei preferiti di quest’anno, la formulazione è decisamente migliorata rispetto agli altri ombretti kiko che peraltro sono buoni,e sono fantastici, secondo me reggono il confronto con ombretti di una fascia di prezzo più alta. Sono pigmentatissimi, basta sfiorarli per avere il dito saturo di colore, sono setosi e si sfumano con una facilità estrema. La gamma di colori è vastissima, e mi piace anche che si possano creare delle palette completamente personalizzate, partendo da quella da 3 fino ad arrivare a quella da 24, insomma ce n’è per tutti i gusti e tutte le tasche! Il prezzo è di 4,90 € e il rapporto qualità prezzo è ottimo!
