the flintstones series : betty rubble inspired eye makeup

Hi fairies,

This is another makeup for my the flintstones series, and it’s inspired by Betty, Barney’s wife: she and Wilma, Fred’s wife, are best friends, Betty is very girly and she’s portrayed as a typical 50’s woman or wife to be precise, very meek, rarely in charge, very affectionate with her husband and eager to please him. She’s the opposite of Wilma, who’s strong willed and often in charge! Betty represents an old fashioned kind of woman for sure, but I still love her style and I got inspired by her outfit for this look !

I applied a matte sky blue eyeshadow all over my lid and I blended it towards my crease , adding a baby blue around the edges to create a nice gradient; in the outer corner I placed a slightly darker blue eyeshadow to give more dimension to the look. I drew a blue bow just above my crease, because Betty always wears her blue bow , it’s one of her trade mark! I drew a black winged line and I decorated it with white dots to represent her necklace, I completed the look with mascara! That’s it, I hope you like it!

Questo è un altro look della mia serie ispirata agli Antenati, e questa volta la protagonista è Betty, la moglie di Barney: lei e Wilma, la moglie di Fred, sono molto amiche, Betty è molto femminile e viene rappresentata come la classica donna, o meglio moglie, degli anni 50, sottomessa, che difficilmente prende decisioni, molto affettuosa col marito e ansiosa di compiacerlo. È l’opposto di Wilma, che ha un carattere più determinato e prende spesso in mano le redini delle situazioni! Betty rappresenta un tipo di donna vecchio stile, questo è sicuro, ma a me piace lo stesso e mi sono ispirata al suo abito per questo look!

Ho applicato un ombretto opaco azzurro sulla palpebra mobile e l’ho sfumato verso la piega, aggiungendo un celeste chiaro sui bordi per ottenere una sfumatura omogenea; nell’angolo esterno dell’occhio ho aggiunto un ombretto di un azzurro leggermente più scuro per dare più profondità allo sguardo. Ho disegnato un fiocco azzurro appena sopra la piega dell’occhio, perché Betty ne indossa sempre uno, è un suo segno distintivo! Ho tracciato una riga nera con l’eyeliner, e l’ho decorata con pois bianchi che rappresentano la sua collana, e ho completato il look con del mascara! È tutto, spero vi piaccia!
