Eye makeup with Colourpop Tinkerbell palette

Colourpop has recently released a Tinkerbell collection and I had to buy some pieces, well I actually bought the palette, a blush and the super shock shadows trio because the colors were to die for, at least in my opinion and I’m so happy I did!

The first makeup I realized is this one, I wanted to use as many colors as possible, and I really like the result, these colors are definitely my colors, they complement my skin tone so well and they make me happy!

I start by defining the crease with Second Star and Big Magic: the first one is a matte beige and the second one is light mauve, they’re both perfect for a soft definition of the crease. I added a matte mauve from the Flower palette from the Bambi collection called Little Stinker and then I cut my crease with concealer to give it the shape I was going for. I used the shimmery shades Pixie Dust, Tink and Neverland. They’re three green, they go from a light green to a deep sage green, they’re very pigmented and they blend really well. I used a highlighter under the browbone called Too Shy, from the Flower Palette, and I completed the look with a winged liner and mascara, and that was it, I hope you like it!

Colourpop ha da poco realizzato una collezione dedicata a Tinkerbell e io non potevo non comprare qualcosa, ho preso la palette, un blush e il trio di supershock shadows perché i colori erano bellissimi, secondo me, e sono felicissima dei miei acquisti!

Questo è il primo makeup che ho realizzato, volevo usare il maggior numero di colori possibile, e sono davvero soddisfatta del risultato, questi sono decisamente i miei colori, stanno molto bene ed esaltano la mia carnagione e mi rendono felice!

Ho cominciato dando definizione alla piega dell’occhio con gli ombretti Second Star e Big Magic: il primo è un beige matte e il secondo è un malva chiaro, entrambi perfetti per dare profondità alla piega dell’occhio. Ho aggiunto un malva scuro preso dalla Flower palette della collezione Bambi, chiamato Little Stinker e poi ho usato un correttore per dare la forma che volevo alla palpebra mobile. Ho usato tre ombretti luminosi, Pixie Dust, Tink e Neverland. Sono tre verdi che vanno da un verde chiaro a un verde salvia intenso, molto pigmentati e ben sfumabili. Sotto l’arcata sopraccigliare ho usato un illuminante della Flower Palette, Too Shy, e ho completato il look con una riga di eyeliner e del mascara, spero vi piaccia!

One product review: Revolution skincare london Under eye serum 5% caffeine and hyaluronic acid

Today I’m going to tell you what I think of an under eye serum I’ve been using for a couple of weeks. I bought it a while ago but I didn’t have the chance to use it till recently. I was very curious to try it because the Revolution skincare London is a very affordable line very similar to The Ordinary in my opinion, both in concept and packaging.

Here’s the description of the product: An under-eye treatment. 

Specially designed for the delicate skin around the eyes, Revolution Skincare Targeted Under Eye Serum helps to reduce the signs of dehydration. This gentle formula contains caffeine and hyaluronic acid to improve the appearance of under-eye puffiness, brighten dark circles and plump fine lines. Price 7.00 euro

 

What I like: the consistency is a bit sticky and runny so I appreciate the dropper that allows to pick the right amount of product without spilling it. You just need the smallest amount of product for both eyes, it’s extremely concentrated so a bottle will last really long making it even more affordable than it already is.

It immediately reduces puffiness in the under eye area and gives a fresh look, it does what it promises. In summer you can store it in the fridge for an extra cool feeling which is really nice!

It has no smell at all.

 

What I don’t like: it works fast but on the long run it doesn’t reduce puffiness: what I mean is when you stop using it you’ll get your puffiness back. It’s a great rescue product for when you wake up with puffy eyes and you need something that works fast but it doesn’t get rid of the problem permanently. It provides the right amount of hydration to me but I don’t have a very dry under eye area, if you do it might not be enough.

My verdict: for the price point is definitely approved, it doesn’t change the under eye area appearance but it provides enough hydration for normal and oily skin, it also minimizes puffiness for the day.

Oggi voglio dirvi cosa penso di un siero contorno occhi che sto usando da un paio di settimane. L’ho comprato un po’ di tempo fa ma non avevo ancora avuto modo di usarlo. Ero molto curiosa di provarlo perché la linea Revolution Skincare London è poco costosa e ricorda molto da vicino The Ordinary sia per il concept che per il packaging.

Formulato per chiunque voglia migliorare l'aspetto delle occhiaie e delle borse, il siero si rivolge alla delicata zona sotto gli occhi per dare alla tua pelle la cura che merita. Grazie all'aggiunta di acido ialuronico, il siero mantiene livelli ottimali di idratazione per una sensazione di idratazione, aumentando il comfort per una finitura lenitiva. Aiuta anche a ridurre l'intensità delle linee sottili che sono state causate dalla disidratazione, creando una superficie più liscia. Miscelato con Caffeina, i tuoi occhi saranno trattati con un'esplosione tonificante di bontà, aiutando a illuminare la pelle e calmare le borse.

Cosa mi piace: ha una consistenza liquida e leggermente appiccicosa, quindi mi fa piacere che ci sia un contagocce come applicatore che permette di non versare e sprecare il prodotto. Ne serve davvero una quantità minima per entrambi gli occhi, è davvero concentrato e la confezione durerà molto a lungo rendendolo ancora più conveniente di quanto non sia già.

Subito dopo l’applicazione si nota subito una diminuzione del gonfiore e lo sguardo risulta più fresco e sveglio, fa quello che promette. In estate lo si può conservare in frigo per una piacevolissima sensazione fresca! È privo di profumo.

 

Cosa non mi piace: la sua azione è rapida ma non duratura, voglio dire che quando si smette di usarlo le borse sotto agli occhi ritornano. È un prodotto fantastico da usare quando ci svegliamo con gli occhi gonfi e abbiamo bisogno di qualcosa che agisca in fretta, ma non elimina il problema alla radice. Per le mie esigenze idrata a sufficienza ma se avete una zona contorno occhi molto secca potrebbe non essere sufficiente.

 

Il mio verdetto: per il prezzo che ha è sicuramente approvato, non cambia in modo duraturo l’aspetto della zona perioculare ma idrata in modo sufficiente le pelli normali e grasse, e riduce le borse per l’intera giornata.
