I did it
again! After trying sugarpill eyeshadows and pigment I wanted to get more, and
today I can show you what I picked! I didn’t buy lots, just one pressed
eyeshadow and one pigment, and I went for unique colors I don’t have, trying to
avoid dupes. I also wanted to try Lime Crime eyeliners, I love the shades they
sell, it’s rare to find pigmented and unique eyeliners and not every pigment
turns out to be a good liner: in my experience some creases a lot and the
result is really unflattering. I heard good things about Lime Crime eyeliners
and I decided to give them a try, let’s hope they’re as good as they say!
Let’s see
what I got, without further ado:
First
there’s sugarpill pressed eyeshadow in Poison Plum, a rich purple with the
tiniest shimmer: as I said I went for unique shades , of course I’ve got other
purple eye shadows, but for me it’s difficult to find the perfect one that has
to be matte, pigmented, easy to blend, vibrant and with a cold undertone. This
one is very promising, it could be the one! I haven’t tried it yet but I will
soon post a makeup look where it will be the main color!
As for
pigments I chose Royal Sugar: it is a gorgeous and rich royal blue full of
silver glitters, very pigmented and sparkly, I love it!
Let’s move on
to Lime Crime eyeliners: first thing I’ve noticed is they are smaller than
other eyeliners, so I checked their size and I was right: they are 1.3 ml each vs 1.7 ml
that is the average size. It’s not necessarily a bad things, especially when
you got many and there’s the chance they get dry or they expire. They’re in a
medium price range, I paid them 9.00 £ each and I don’t think they’re too
expensive as long as they work, they don’t crease and they last long ; I can’t
tell you my opinion yet , but I will soon write a review, I need time to try
them. Colors are really pretty, I got blue milk, which is a pastel blue, and
citreuse, a lime green with a bit of gold shimmer to it that doesn’t show much
once applied. I love how vibrant they are, they should work well on dark
eyeshadows , I can’t wait to play with them!
Last
product is a sigma brush, my first one: it is a synthetic brush , E48 pointed
crease brush, perfect to apply eyeshadow in the crease , especially in the
lower crease to intensify the color previously applied with a wider crease
brush, without overlapping it: I wanted a brush that allows me control , not too
fluffy but still good for blending. This seems a good one, I’m satisfied with
it so far ! Price 8.99 £.

Eccomi di nuovo qui con nuovi acquisti! Dopo aver provato
gli ombretti e i pigmenti Sugarpill volevo prenderne altri, ed oggi finalmente
posso mostrarvi quello che ho scelto! Non ho comprato molto, solo un ombretto e
un pigmento, ho deciso di prendere colori unici e che non avevo, evitando
doppioni. Volevo anche provare gli eyeliner lime crime, mi piacciono i loro
colori, è veramente difficile trovare eyeliner colorati molto pigmentati, e io
cerco di ovviare al problema usando pigmenti , ma non tutti sono adatti a
questo scopo: molti si seccano e formano delle crepe, con un risultato
veramente disastroso. Ho sentito parlare bene di questi eyeliner, e finalmente
posso provarli, spero siano validi !
Vediamo nel dettaglio cosa ho preso:
Il primo prodotto è un ombretto pressato di sugarpill, il
poison plum, un viola molto intenso con una leggerissima finitura shimmer :come
vi stavo dicendo, ho scelto un colore che non avevo, o meglio, un colore unico.
Non che non abbia ombretti viola, ma sono alla ricerca di quello perfetto: per
me deve essere matte, molto pigmentato, facile da sfumare e con un sottotono
freddo, e finora non l’ho ancora trovato! Questo sembra essere un buon
candidato,non l’ho ancora usato, ma presto posterò un trucco occhi con lui come
protagonista!
Il pigmento che ho scelto è Royal sugar, un blu elettrico
con tanti glitter argento, un colore pieno che mi piace molto!
Passiamo agli eyeliner Lime Crime: la prima cosa che ho
notato è che sono più piccoli rispetto agli altri eyeliner; ho controllato, ed
effettivamente sono 1.3 ml , mentre normalmente la quantità è 1.7 ml. Non è
necessariamente un lato negativo, specialmente quando si hanno diversi eyeliner
e si rischia che alcuni si secchino o scadano. Come prezzo si collocano in una
fascia media, li ho pagati 9.00 £ l’uno, un prezzo non troppo alto a patto che
facciano il loro lavoro, non si secchino e durino a lungo; non li ho ancora
provati e quindi non so dirvi se sono dei prodotti validi, ma presto scriverò
una recensione, mi serve un po’ di tempo per testarli. I colori che ho preso
sono milk blue, un celeste pastello molto deciso, e Citreuse, un verde lime con
un leggero riflesso dorato che, una volta applicato, si perde quasi del tutto.
Sono molto coprenti, dovrebbero funzionare bene anche con gli ombretti scuri,
non vedo l’ora di usarli!
L’ultimo prodotto che ho preso è un pennello Sigma, il primo
per quanto mi riguarda: è l’E48 pointed crease brush, in fibre sintetiche. E’
perfetto per applicare l’ombretto nella piega, specialmente nella parte
inferiore per intensificare il colore già applicato con un pennello da
sfumatura più ampio,senza andarlo a coprire del tutto: volevo un pennello che
mi permettesse un controllo del colore, fitto ma allo stesso tempo valido per
sfumare. Penso di aver scelto bene, finora ne sono soddisfatta! Prezzo di 8.99 £.
