Sugarpill haul with a bit of Lime Crime!

today I want to show you some of my new entries I’ve recently bought: I’ve been wanting to try Sugarpill eyeshadows since forever, but I’ve never had the chance to buy them, both cause it wasn’t easy to find them and cause shipping costs were too high. Eventually though I’ve purchased them and as I have never tried them before I picked only three of them : l saw swatches and makeup looks and they seemed amazing but I always want to try products before rating them, because so many times I’ve been disappointed by those hyped up, it’s all a matter of skin and personal preference in my opinion, and on the other hand I’ve been pleasantly surprised by products that weren’t praised that much..you never know till you try them!

I’ve got 2 pressed eyeshadow and one pigment, let’s go straight to see them! First pressed one is dollipop, a bright matte fuchsia I’m in love with! I picked it because it’s a unique color, I haven’t got anything similar, and I did the right choice! It’s so bright, buttery, pigmented, almost neon, it’s gorgeous! I already wore it and I got compliments every time!

What I really like about Sugarpill eyeshadow is their texture, so smooth and buttery yet so highly pigmented: they’re not powdery considering they are matte and considering their color pay off; I also love how easy is to blend them , it’s really amazing! They are worth the hype and another order is on its way, I want the whole color range, they’re so worth it and a must have for those , like me, who love bright colors , that are bold and love artsy makeup!

Second pressed eyeshadow I’ve got is Mochi , a matte seafoam green, the color I’m obsessed with lately, and I didn’t have a matte one so it’s perfect and it matches the shimmer one I mostly used! Just like dollipop is super pigmented and silky, and very easy to blend, I’ve used it in a makeup look I’ll post next week and you’ll see it in action!

I’ve also purchased a Sugarpill pigment and I’m really impressed with it: it’s paperdoll, a gorgeous lavender color with silver and pink microglitter,so sparkly and silky! I got many pigments and I like using them, fall out doesn’t scare me, I just do my eyes first and problem is solved!

I’ve also tried a brand I didn’t know, Concrete, and the pigment I’ve got is an electric blue loaded with silver sparkles, it’s very sparkly, almost metallic, I’ve just swatched it but I think it will look gorgeous once applied!

Last but not least a Lime Crime lipstick is mine! I picked countessa fluorescent, a pink with blue undertone, and I’m so glad of my choice! The color is unique, it changes when light reflects on it, the texture is so soft and comfortable, it is long lasting, it was perfect after two coffe and a bun! I want more and I’m gonna buy at least another one!

Oggi voglio mostrarvi alcuni dei miei ultimi acquisti: è da tanto che volevo provare i prodotti Sugarpill, ma non ne avevo mai avuto l’occasione, sia perché non era facile reperirli, sia perché quando si trovavano le spese di spedizione erano piuttosto alte. Dopo tanto penare e dopo annose ricerche , annuncio con gioia che li ho comprati! Non avendoli mai testati, ne ho presi solo tre: ho visto swatches e look in cui erano protagonisti, e mi sono sembrati validi, ma preferisco sempre provare i prodotti personalmente prima di dare un giudizio, dal momento che molte volte sono rimasta delusa da cosmetici molto amati, e altre volte mi sono innamorata di alcuni con cui molte non si trovavano bene: credo sia una questione di pelle e di preferenze personali, finchè non si provano non possiamo sapere se fanno al caso nostro!

Ma veniamo ai miei acquisti: ho preso due ombretti pressati e un pigmento! Il primo dei due è dollipop, un fucsia acceso, quasi neon, che già amo alla follia! L’ho scelto perché è un colore unico, non ne avevo nessuno simile, ed è stata una scelta giusta! È brillante, pieno, molto setoso, in poche parole bellissimo, l’ho già usato più di una volta ed ho sempre ricevuto molti complimenti!

Quello che mi piace degli ombretti Sugarpill è la loro consistenza, morbida e burrosa, e la loro altissima pigmentazione: non sono polverosi se si considera quanto siano scriventi e anche il loro finish matte; si sfumano con una facilità estrema , sono rimasta molto colpita! Direi che il tanto parlare che si fa è del tutto giustificato, infatti ne ho ordinati altri, voglio averli tutti, sono un must per chi, come me, ama i trucchi colorati, per chi ama farsi notare, e per chi ama dare sfogo alla propria creatività tramite il makeup!

 

Dollipop

Il secondo ombretto pressato che ho preso è Mochi, un verde menta, il mio colore preferito del momento; non ne avevo uno matte, sono felice di averlo ordinato, si abbina perfettamente al suo gemellino shimmer che uso molto spesso! E’ molto pigmentato, proprio come dollipop, l’ho già usato in un makeup che posterò la prossima settimana, così potrete vederlo in azione: si sfuma facilmente e il colore è pieno.

Ho poi preso un pigmento, di cui sono estremamente soddisfatta: si chiama paperdoll, è un lavanda con glitter argento e rosa, molto luminoso e setoso! Ho molti pigmenti e mi trovo veramente bene con questo tipo di prodotto, risolvo il problema del fall out truccando prima gli occhi e poi il viso.

Ho anche preso un pigmento di una marca che non conoscevo, la Concrete, che è un blu elettrico pieno di glitter argentati, luminosissimo, si ottiene quasi un effetto metallico! Non l’ho ancora usato ma penso che non mi deluderà!

Ultimo , ma solo nella lista, è un rossetto Lime Crime: Ho scelto il countessa fluorescent, un rosa con sottotono blu, un colore meraviglioso che cambia a seconda di come la luce vi si riflette, ho scelto veramente bene! La consistenza è molto morbida e confortevole e la durata è lunghissima: è rimasto come appena messo anche dopo due caffè e un dolcetto! Il colore è unico, e ne voglio prendere almeno un altro!
