November most played

We’re at the end of the month and , as usual, it’s time to find out what my most played products are ; before starting l’ll link you to the team most played creator’sblog, Goldenvi0let, where you can find all the info you need to join in if you haven’t already!

This month I’ve bought and received new stuff and I immediately started trying out to find out whether I like it or not; let’s start with an absolute new favorite of mine, and I know putting it in my most played list is somehow cheating because I’ve received it only ten days ago, but I’ve been playing with it ever since and I’ve got the feeling it will be part of next month most played as well, I love it that much! It is Sugarpill sparkle baby palette, it is so me it’s got my name written on it, I love every single shade and I’m happy I eventually decided to buy it because colors are unique, they are my kind of colors as I love shimmery and sparkly eye shadows, they’re buttery and easy to blend and this palette is a must have if you love girly and kawaii looks!

It’s officially fall season and this year dark brown and dark red lipsticks are in, the 90’s trend is back and I couldn’t ignore it, I mean come on, I am a 90’s teen I have to buy at least one of the new lipsticks! I love Mac hearts a flame and lingering kiss, the new matte formula is extremely comfortable and creamy but it’s not very opaque, they’ve got a slight shine to them , in my opinion they don’t classify as matte but they look gorgeous nonetheless!

another product I used a lot this month is Blush Italia 120 matte and shimmer eye shadow palette, a must for a color lover like me! I like these kind of palettes because they allow my creativity to flow and I usually come out with very nice makeup looks when I play with them! 

I’m trying to use Mac drop lustre a bit more often because I’m afraid it might expire, it’s quite old to be honest and I love it but it’s hard to use it all as you need only few drops to give your skin the most beautiful rose golden glow ever! 

I’m also loving Kiko poker nail lacquers from the Daring game collection, they are creamy, they dry fast, they’re very shiny and they last long! They’re good quality and I’ve been using them often, I own four of them and they all perform the same.

Last but not least is my beloved Urban Decay waterproof 24/7 liquid liner in perversion, the best liquid liner I’ve tried in quite a while, I love how precise lines are, you can easily decide how thick or thin you want your line to be thanks to the applicator brush which is not too soft nor too stiff, it bends just enough to let you trace your perfect winged line!

Siamo alla fine del mese e, come sempre, è arrivato il momento di scoprire quali sono stati i prodotti che ho usato di più; prima di iniziare vi lascio il link al blog dell’ideatrice del team most played, GoldenVi0let, dove troverete tutte le informazioni per unirvi al tag se non l’avete ancora fatto!

 

Questo mese ho comprato e ricevuto nuovi prodotti che ho immediatamente iniziato ad usare per scoprire se mi piacessero o meno; iniziamo con uno dei miei nuovi preferiti in assoluto, e so che inserirlo nella lista dei most played ha voluto dire, in parte, barare, perché l’ho ricevuto solo dieci giorni fa, ma da allora non c’è stato giorno in cui io non l’abbia usato! Sto parlando della palette Sparkle Baby di Sugarpill , che praticamente ha il mio nome stampato sopra, adoro ogni singolo colore e sono felice di aver deciso di comprarla perché le tonalità sono uniche e sono proprio del tipo che preferisco, scintillanti e luminose, inoltre gli ombretti sono vellutati e facili da sfumare, se amate i look molto femminili e kawaii questa palette è da avere!

Siamo entrati ufficialmente in autunno , e quest’anno sono tornati di moda i rossetti rosso e marrone scuri così come era successo negli anni 90, e secondo voi io, un’adolescente in quel periodo, potevo ignorare la tendenza e non comprare nemmeno un rossetto? Non potevo, infatti ne ho presi due, Mac hearts a flame e lingering kiss , e mi piacciono entrambi, la nuova formula matte è cremosa e confortevole ma, di contro, non è totalmente opaca, il rossetto rimane leggermente lucido, tanto che, a mio parere, non possono essere definiti matte, ma sono comunque dei rossetti meravigliosi!

Questo mese ho usato molto anche la palette Blush Italia 120 ombretti matte e shimmer, e devo dire che questo tipo di palette mi dà sempre delle soddisfazioni: mi permette di dare sfogo alla mia creatività , è indispensabile per chi ama i colori come me, e ogni volta che la uso ottengo dei trucchi molto carini !

Sto cercando di usare più spesso l’illuminante mac drop lustre perché ho paura che vada a male , è piuttosto vecchio, e in realtà mi piace molto ma è difficile consumarlo dal momento che ne bastano due gocce per illuminare la pelle di meravigliosi riflessi oro e rosati!

Mi sto trovando molto bene con gli smalti Kiko della collezione Daring game, i poker nail lacquers, sono cremosi, si asciugano velocemente, sono lucidi e durano a lungo! La qualità è buona, io ne possiedo quattro e tutti si comportano allo stesso modo.

Ultimo, ma non per importanza, il mio amato Urban Decay waterproof 24/7 liquid liner in perversion, il miglior eyeliner liquido che abbia provato da parecchio tempo a questa parte, permette di ottenere linee molto precise, permette di esercitare un totale controllo sullo spessore delle linee, si può facilmente tracciare una linea sottile oppure molto spessa grazie al pennello applicatore che non è né troppo morbido né troppo rigido, si piega quel tanto che basta da permettervi di disegnare una linea perfetta!

eye makeup look: dark blue smoky eye

Today’s look is pretty simple to achieve but it is very dramatic and it will definitely draw attention to your eyes; I think it looks really good on fair skin because it pops even more and it will make your skin look really light and ethereal. All I did was applying a matte navy blue eyeshadow all over my lid, just a bit under my natural crease, and then I blended it and I defused any harsh lines. This process will take a while, especially when you’re working with a dark color you need to reapply it and to keep blending till you’ve got the result you were looking for. In the crease I applied a turquoise color, using a blending brush, and I blended it very well because I wanted to get a nice gradient. You can skip the eyeliner because it’s hard to see it on a black background, you could apply falsies and you’ll be done; else you could go for a turquoise eyeliner like I did in another occasion, to match the crease color! It’s up to you, I like both versions!

Il look di oggi non è difficile da realizzare, ma è molto drammatico e sicuramente attirerà l’attenzione verso i vostri occhi; secondo me crea un bel contrasto con le pelli chiare, e ne esalta il colore dandole un tocco etereo e fiabesco. Come prima cosa ho applicato un ombretto blu scuro opaco su tutta la palpebra mobile, fermandomi sotto la mia naturale piega dell’occhio, e poi ho sfumato bene per eliminare le righe nette. Prendetevi il vostro tempo per ottenere una sfumatura ben fatta, se necessario riapplicate il nero e poi sfumate, e ripetete più volte fino a che non sarete soddisfatte del risultato. Nella piega ho applicato un turchese, con un pennello da sfumatura, ed ho sfumato bene per ottenere una gradazione di colori come quella che vedete. Potete non applicare l’eyeliner, sarebbe comunque appena visibile su uno sfondo scuro come questo, magari potete completare il look con delle ciglia finte; oppure potete scegliere un eyeliner turchese che richiama il colore nella piega dell’occhio, come ho fatto io in un'altra occasione! La scelta è vostra, a me piacciono entrambe le versioni!

November empties aka all good things come to an end

November will soon be over and my favorite month of the year, December, will start! Christmas decorations are already up, santa is working hard at Christmas gifts, I am planning Christmas baking and food and I’m so excited I can hardly contain myself! I could go on and on raving about Christmas but I won’t, it’s better to go straight to the point of this post, which is talking about my empties!

I’ve got quite a few of them this month, I’m pleased with myself: I ran out of my beloved mac studio fix fluid foundation , here you can read my full review, it is the perfect foundation for my skin type and for my needs, it’s long lasting, mattifying, it’s buildable from medium to high coverage, it evens out my skin beautifully and I don’t break out at all! I’ve been using it for more than one year now, I tried other brands in the meantime and I haven’t found a better foundation so far!

Last summer I used Sexy Mama face powder by the balm and it really helped keeping shine at bay , I was impressed with it , it saved my life when weather was hot and humid! I have to say I’ve started using Mac set powder soon after Sexy Mama and I love it even more, but I still think Sexy Mama is a good product. I’ll soon post both face powders reviews.

 

Sexy Mama when I started it!

I use sun block every single day all year round, and Rilastil SPF 100+ was my holy grail last summer, I needed a very high SPF because I’m super pale and this lotion was perfect! It’s quite liquid and it applies easily, it does leave a white layer on your skin if you don’t rub it in carefully, that’s the only thing , but apart from that I loved it and I’m repurchase it next summer, right now I switched to SPF 50.

Two staples of mine are The Body Shop chamomile gentle eye makeup remover, I talked about it several times and I told you it removes any kind of makeup without rubbing or struggling, it’s gentle on my skin but very effective with makeup , a little goes a long way and quality price ratio is totally great! 

I also love my The Body Shop body butters, this month I opened an almond one with a subtle but very pleasant scent; it’s very moisturizing without being sticky, it’s got a velvety texture and it’s not hard to get absorbed. It leaves your skin nourished for a long time, all day as far as I’m concerned, but I guess it could last a bit less if your skin is extremely dry.

I eventually finished Kiko mat fluid, can you believe I opened it around four months ago and I’ve been using it every day? Well, you have to, because that’s exactly how long it lasted! I’ve already repurchased it, I like it a lot because it’s lightweight, it helps keep oily skin under control, it moisturizes without being heavy, it doesn’t feel greasy and you will only need the tiniest amount of it! I’ve got two products by I provenzali brand, first one is jojoba oil in a glass bottle with a dispenser that I used for my hair soon after shampooing when it was still damp and I leave it in , and also as deep pre shampoo conditioning treatment, mixed with coconut or shea oil. I like jojoba oil to nourish my hair because it doesn’t leave a greasy film on it , it’s lightweight but at the same time it’s very effective!

Of course I ran out of my monthly shea butter jar, a must have for my elbows and heels and for any area that needs extra moisturizing, I use it on my lips and on my eye contour at night and I’ve noticed my skin feels firmer, toned and plumped up!

Last product is Lycia cream deodorant , the best one in my opinion! I’ve been using it for years and years and it really works!

Ciao fatine,!a casa, Babbo Natale è impegnatissimo e pieno di lavoro , sta confezionando tutti i regali di Natale, io sto organizzando la lista dei dolci di natale che voglio fare e anche i menù festivi, sono piena di entusiasmo e faccio fatica a contenermi! Potrei andare avanti a parlare del natale per ore e ore, ma non lo farò, è meglio tornare all’argomento del post, che è quello dei prodotti finiti!

Questo mese ho finito parecchi prodotti e ne sono contenta: il primo della lista è il mio amatissimo fondotinta mac studio fix fluid di cui potete leggere la recensione completa qui, che risponde a tutte le mie esigenze ed è perfetto per il mio tipo di pelle, è a lunga durata, opacizzante, si può modulare la copertura da media ad alta, uniforma la pelle regalando un effetto pelle di porcellana e non mi fa spuntare imperfezioni! Lo sto usando da più di un anno ormai, e nel contempo ho provato anche fondotinta di altre marche, ma nessuno mi ha soddisfatto come questo!

La scorsa estate ho usato la polvere viso Sexy Mama di the Balm che mi ha veramente aiutato a non far lucidare la pelle, ne sono rimasta colpita, è stata la mia valida alleata nelle giornate di caldo umido! Devo dire che , una volta finita, ho aperto ed iniziato a usare Mac set powder che, a mio parere, è di qualità nettamente superiore e regala una finitura ancora più impeccabile, ma continuo a considerare Sexy Mama un buon prodotto. Presto posterò le recensioni di entrambi le polveri viso.

Io uso la protezione solare ogni giorno e per tutto l’anno, e il mio prodotto indispensabile la scorsa estate è stato Rilastil SPF 100 + , il filtro solare perfetto per la mia carnagione chiarissima! Ha una consistenza piuttosto liquida e si stende facilmente , però lascia una patina bianca se non lo si massaggia e lo si fa assorbire bene, questo è l’unico difetto che ha, per il resto mi ci sono trovata benissimo e lo ricomprerò sicuramente la prossima estate, per ora sono passata a SPF 50.

I prossimi due prodotti sono tra quelli che uso costantemente: il primo è il The Body shop struccante occhi delicato alla camomilla di cui vi ho parlato in diverse occasioni e che , per me, è il miglior struccante occhi mai provato! Rimuove il trucco senza dover strofinare ed insistere a lungo, è delicato sulla pelle ma efficace con il trucco, ne basta pochissimo e il rapporto qualità prezzo è ottimo!

Il secondo prodotto è un burro corpo di the body shop, sapete che adoro questi prodotti e ne ho una scorta, e questo mese ho aperto quello alla mandorla, che ha un profumo delicato e fresco, è molto idratante ma non appiccicoso, ha una consistenza vellutata e si assorbe velocemente. Lascia la pelle idratata a lungo, tutto il giorno per quanto mi riguarda, ma se la vostra pelle è molto secca probabilmente la durata sarà minore, anche se sarà comunque buona.

Ho finito anche il Kiko mat fluid, e se vi dico che l’ho aperto circa quattro mesi fa e l’ho usato tutti i giorni mi credete? Dovete credermi, è esattamente quello che ho fatto,è un prodotto che mi è durato tantissimo, sembrava non finire mai! L’ho già ricomprato perché è adatto alla mia tipologia di pelle, è leggero ma molto nutriente, aiuta a mantenere la pelle opaca, non unge e ne serve una quantità minima! Qui potete leggere la mia recensione completa, se avete la pelle grassa come la mia vi consiglio di provarlo.

Ho terminato due prodotti della marca I provenzali, il primo è un olio di jojoba contenuto in una bottiglia di vetro con il dosatore, che uso sui capelli ancora umidi dopo lo shampoo come idratante da non risciacquare, ma anche come impacco nutriente profondo prima dello shampoo, mischiato all’olio di cocco o di karitè . l’olio di jojoba ha una consistenza leggera che non appesantisce i capelli, ma è allo stesso tempo molto nutriente, lo trovo molto adatto per i miei capelli. Ho finito il mio barattolo di burro di karitè, che uso sui gomiti e sui talloni e sulle zone che richiedono un’idratazione profonda, ad esempio le labbra e la zona contorno occhi, dove lo applico in genere la sera, e ho notato che la pelle risulta più compatta, elastica e tonica!

L’ultimo prodotto è il Lycia anti odorante classico, secondo me il migliore in assoluto; lo uso da anni e funziona benissimo, come nessun altro!
