One product review : kiko luscious cream lipstick

What’s your favourite lipstick texture? Mine is matte , I like how it looks on my lips, I like the velvety finish and how long they last, I like they’re not sticky and I don’t have to worry about bleeding, so they’re hands down my favorites! I use creamy ones as well, when the quality is good they don’t budge or smudge and they feel comfortable , they don’t dry your lips and they’ve got a little bit of shine that makes your lips fuller; I like to change and try new textures and brands, that’s why I bought some kiko luscious cream lipstick in the past few months. I know it sounds unbelievable, but I didn’t buy any when they came out and for quite a while they weren’t appealing to me because I was afraid they were too creamy. I eventually decided to try them , I was too curious, and I bought quite a few after my first one.

What I like : they are available in 25 different colors, from neutral ones like nr 501 light rose , to a rich deep black, nr 523! There are some unusual shades apart from the last one I mentioned, a taupe, nr 524, or black cherry nr 522, the range will satisfy any kind of woman! The texture is , of course, creamy, but it’s not too soft and it doesn’t smudge or feather out. I always use a lip pencil, with any lipsticks even matte one, and that sure helps keeping them in place; in my opinion when dealing with a creamy texture is better to apply a lip pencil first.it glides on your lips and it’s easy to apply , color is rich and even, even dark colors that sometimes are a bit patchy haven’t got this issue. They are basically scentless, and they come in a silver holo packaging I love! On the inside it’s explained how to open it in case you might find it difficult; it really isn’t , it’s just a matter of knowing how to! It’s pretty long lasting for a creamy lipstick, around 4-5 hours on my lips and after that the shiny finish will go away and your lips will still have a bit of stain color. I think light colors just fade away though, but that’s what to be expected by this kind of product.

What I don’t like : I’d have like them to have some sort of scent, even a light one ; I actually said , when talking about UD revolution lipsticks, that I like unscented ones and it’s true, but I also love vanilla scented lipsticks, and I had to find few faults to this product so let me get away with that!

As I said they won’t last all day and if want them to look shiny you will have to reapply them after eating or after 4-5 hours; in my opinion they last quite long to be creamy and for the price you pay.

My verdict: they’ve made a good impression on me, so good that I bought three or four of them and I’m planning to add some more to my collection; the quality price ratio is great, I don’t think you’ll find another lipstick in the same price range that performs like these do, and let’s not forget there are 25 awesome shades to pick from! I recommend them!

Qual è la vostra finitura di rossetto preferita? La mia è la matte, mi piace l’effetto che ottengo sulle labbra, mi piace la consistenza vellutata e la loro lunga durata, mi piace che non siano appiccicosi e che non ci si debba preoccupare delle sbavature, insomma sono senza dubbio i rossetti che preferisco! Uso anche i rossetti cremosi, quando sono di buona qualità e non sbavano, mi piacciono perchè sono confortevoli , non seccano le labbra e hanno quel tanto di lucentezza che basta a renderle leggermente più piene ; mi diverte provare nuove marche e finiture, ecco perché nei mesi scorsi ho comprato alcuni rossetti kiko della serie luscious cream. So che può sembrare strano, ma non li avevo ancora provati perché credevo fossero troppo morbidi, alla fine però la curiosità ha avuto la meglio e, dopo il primo, se ne sono aggiunti altri alla mia collezione.

Cosa mi piace: sono disponibili 25 bellissime tonalità, da quelle neutre come la numero 501 light rose, a quelle scurissime come il nero intenso, numero 523! Ci sono dei colori inusuali, ad esempio il numero 524 che è un grigio talpa, o il numero 522 che è un rosso amarena, insomma soddisfano veramente tutti i gusti! La consistenza è, ovviamente, cremosa, ma non troppo morbida, e non sbava facilmente. Io uso sempre una matita labbra, anche con i rossetti matte, e questo aiuta molto a tenerli al loro posto; quando si usa un rossetto cremoso poi, secondo me la matita è d’obbligo. I rossetti scivolano sulle labbra e sono facili da applicare, il colore è pieno ed omogeneo, anche le tonalità più scure non lasciano striature come a volte succede. Non hanno nessun profumo, e la confezione è color argento con riflessi olografici, a me piace molto! All’interno della scatola ci sono le istruzioni su come aprirlo, in caso vi risulti difficile, anche se in realtà basta capire come funziona. Ha una buona durata, intorno alle 4-5 ore sulle mie labbra, dopo di che perde la parte lucida e lascia le labbra colorate, anche se credo che i colori chiari svaniscano completamente.

Cosa non mi piace: mi sarebbe piaciuto se avessero avuto una leggera profumazione, anche se è vero che, quando ho parlato dei devolution lipstick di Urban Decay, ho detto che apprezzavo che non avessero profumo, e lo confermo, ma mi piacciono anche quelli con una fragranza vanigliata come i rossetti mac, e poi devo pur trovare un difetto al prodotto, quindi datemela per buona!

Non durano tutto il giorno, ma rimangono brillanti per circa 4-5 ore, dopo di che dovete riapplicarli se volete l’effetto lucido . secondo me , soprattutto in rapporto al prezzo, hanno una buona durata.

Il mio verdetto: mi hanno piacevolmente sorpreso, tant’è che ne ho comprati tre o quattro dopo aver provato il primo, e ci sono alcuni colori che vorrei acquistare prossimamente; il rapporto qualità prezzo è ottimo, non credo che nella stessa fascia di prezzo si trovino rossetti con una finitura e consistenza migliori di questi, e poi non dimentichiamo la vastissima ed interessante gamma di colori! Io li consiglio!
