The Body Shop haul aka diary of a shopaholic wild argan line and more!

I’ve been shopping at The Body Shop recently, I needed some skin and body care products, and most of all I wanted to try their wild argan line: it was launched in june but I had to use some of the body butters I had in stock before buying more, I forced myself to behave and I did! I deserve a treat don’t I?! here’s what I got:

Two monoi miracle Monoi spa wisdom polynesia oil bottles: this is by far the best hair oil I’ve ever tried, it smells amazing, of tropical flowers, it’s very nourishing without being greasy, I apply it not only before shampooing my hair but also after that, on damp hair , and it takes away frizziness leaving my hair soft, bouncy, shiny and overall gorgeous and healthy! A little goes a long way so it’s not expensive in the long run; here you can read my full review on this great quality oil!

I’ve got two body butters, one is the coconut shimmering body butter and it’s one of my favourite : it’s like all other body butters of the brand, very moisturizing, very rich, it doesn’t leave your skin greasy because it gets absorbed quickly but it nourishes it deeply and you can definitely feel it; this one has got a plus though, because is shimmering! It’s packed with tiny silver microglitters that give your skin a beautiful glow , lovely with tan and even without that; it sticks to your clothes though, and not even washing them will get rid of it, but I don’t mind , I love sparkles!

The almond body butter is perfect for autumn and winter, when our skin needs a deeper hydration, and I always buy it when the season starts! Price 15.00 €

Next product is a spray oil, the wild argan oil radiant oil for body and hair : it’s a dry oil for body and hair, I think I’m going to try it on both, I’ll spray on my hair after shampoo to seal the ends and protect it from heat ! Price is 17.00 € for 125 ml

The product I was most curious about is the wild argan solid oil for body: it comes in a flat metallic jar, a bit vintage, and perfect to put it in your makeup bag when you’re packing for a weekend out! It smells really nice, it’s a delicate, natural scent, and the product itself is really moisturizing, you just need a pea size of it! Argan oil works wonders on dry skin, it also helps with skin rash and mild irritation, it can be used on diaper rash and on children in general.  I’ve been in love with it since I’ve first tried it and I’m happy The Body Shop has come out with an argan line, their range wasn’t complete without it! Price 10.00 € for 50 ml.

Last two products are the vanilla bliss hand cream, a limited edition scent that comes out during holiday season that I really like, it’s a true vanilla fragrance , and when I saw this cream on sale I didn’t hesitate for a second and I grabbed it!
I also purchased a lip balm in joyous cranberry, another holiday scent!

Ultimamente ho fatto acquisti al The Body Shop perché mi servivano alcuni prodotti per la cura del corpo, e soprattutto perché volevo provare la loro collezione all’olio di Argan che è uscita a giugno, ma volevo finire alcuni burri ed oli corpo che avevo prima di prenderne di nuovi, per questo motivo ho deciso di aspettare , e ci sono riuscita! Meritavo un premio per essere stata così brava, giusto?! Ecco cosa ho preso:

due bottiglie di olio di Monoi spa wisdom polynesia : secondo me questo è l’olio più adatto ai miei capelli che io abbia mai provato, ha un profumo delicato di fiori tropicali, idrata a fondo senza ingrassare, infatti io lo uso sia come impacco pre shampoo che anche sui capelli umidi, appena lavati, per eliminare l’effetto crespo , dare morbidezza, elasticità, ed avere capelli dall’aspetto sano! Ne basta veramente pochissimo, quindi una bottiglia vi durerà mesi e , tutto sommato, il prodotto non è affatto caro.

Ho comprato due burri corpo, uno è il burro corpo scintillante al cocco ed è uno dei miei preferiti: non solo è un burro molto ricco ed idratante, non unge, si assorbe rapidamente ma vi lascia la pelle morbida e nutrita in profondità, come del resto tutti gli altri di questa marca, ma ha qualcosa in più che ai miei occhi lo rende irresistibile! Avete già indovinato di cosa si tratta? Ha tantissimi micro glitter argentati al suo interno che regalano alla pelle una luminosità incredibile, che esalta l’abbronzatura ma sta bene anche sulle carnagioni chiare! L’unico difetto che ha è che i glitter sono talmente impalpabili da fissarsi sui vestiti, e nemmeno lavandoli vanno via, ma a me non da fastidio, più glitter ci sono meglio è!

Il burro corpo alla mandorla è perfetto per l’autunno e per l’inverno perché è molto nutriente ed efficace quando la nostra pelle ha bisogno di maggiore idratazione, non me lo faccio mai mancare  nella stagione fredda!tutti i burri corpo costano 15.00 €.

Il prossimo prodotto è un olio spray, il wild argan oil radiant oil per capelli e corpo: è un olio secco, e penso che lo proverò sia sul corpo che sui capelli, dove lo spruzzerò dopo averli lavati, per proteggere le punte. Prezzo 17.00 € per 125 ml.

Il prodotto che ero più curiosa di provare era il l’olio solido di Argan, e finalmente l’ho comprato: si presenta in una scatolina metallica piatta dall’aria vintage, perfetta da mettere nel beauty case quando state partendo per un weekend, dal momento che occupa poco spazio. Ha un odore delicato e naturale, molto gradevole, ed è molto idratante, ne serve giusto una noce ! l’olio di Argan è efficacissimo sulla pelle molto secca, aiuta anche sulle irritazioni e si può usare per lenire il rossore da pannolino nei bambini, o in generale dove la pelle è irritata . me ne sono innamorata, e da quando l’ho provato non ne posso più fare a meno, quindi potete immaginare la mia gioia quando il The Body Shop ha lanciato questa linea: la loro gamma non era completa senza! Prezzo 10.00 € per 50 ml.

Gli ultimi due prodotti che ho comprato sono una crema mani estasi di vaniglia, una fragranza che esce in edizione limitata durante le festività natalizie che a me piace molto, odora semplicemente di vaniglia ed è dolce e buonissima, quindi quando ho visto la crema mani in saldo non ho esitato e l’ho presa!

Sempre con i saldi ho comprato il balsamo labbra al mirtillo gioioso, un’altra fragranza in edizione limitata!
