November empties aka all good things come to an end

Hi fairies,
this month has been hectic for so many reasons, I’ve just started relaxing a bit and I opened my empties box for the first time in weeks! I was surprised to find quite a few products inside, I was sure I didn’t use up more than two or three products!

empties_products

Let’s start with I Provenzali soap bar, another coconut one , which is my favourite! It’s a moisturizing soap bar with a very natural scent, it’s delicate and it can be used by sensitive skin types. I really like it and I’ve already repurchased it!

my face scrub of the month has been The Body shop tea tree squeaky clean , formulated for oily skin as it’s got tea tree among the ingredients, and tea tree oil is a very effective antibacterial, used to cleanse oily skin and to keep imperfections at bay.the texture is gel like and there are micro grains inside that aren’t aggressive at all, actually I think this scrub is a bit too mild for my skin type, I was expecting it to be stronger . it did its job but I felt it didn’t cleanse my skin deeply, I’m not entirely satisfied with it and I don’t know whether to repurchase it or not.

Let’s move on to hair care with Garnier Fructis fortifying mask and fortifying hair conditioner, two products I used in combo to detangle and keep my hair soft and nourished; they worked well, they are very rich so if you haven’t got dry hair they are too heavy, but they are perfect for my hair , they helped it look healthy and shiny!

I ran out of another Mac studio fix fluid foundation, here you can read my full review. I talked about it several times, it is my HG foundation because it’s full coverage, it doesn’t look cakey, it’s got a matte finish, it keeps shine at bay and it lasts all day, basically is the perfect foundation for me!

empties_products

I tried Kaloderma Indian oil for the very first time, as you can see it’s supposed to get rid of black heads and impurities and to help with oil control; I can’t tell if it helps with black heads as I haven’t got any, what I know is it’s got a strong rosemary’s smell that might bother some of you, it’s a lightweight oil that doesn’t feel greasy, it moisturizes but at the same time it cleanses my skin and it wipes away any makeup residues that might still be on after my skin care evening routine.

This nourishing shampoo for long and dry hair was in a gift box Sephora sent me last year,I had never heard of this brand and I was curious to try it! It’s a good shampoo, it’s not aggressive, it feels moisturizing and gentle on my hair , at the same time it washes them well and thoroughly , I have no complaints about it, I’d love to repurchase it in full size, I don’t know if it’s expensive, I haven’t checked yet.

Another nail polish ready to go to nail polish heaven , yes I’m proud of myself for using it all up, even though this one was quite old, but still! With more than 500 nail polish bottles I’m always happy when I finish one! It was a gorgeous top coat, glitters were fine and iridescent , they matched so many colors and they gave any nail polish just a touch of sparkles, very classy and girly!

empties_products

My hair oil of the month has been the body shop chocomania beautifying oil: as you probably know, this line is one of my go to when I need a hair oil because oils aren’t greasy , they get absorbed fast, they smell delicious, they provide nourishment to my hair and they keep my curls bouncy! I use it every day on dry hair to keep frizz at bay, and I also use it as pre shampoo deep conditioning treatment.

My body oil of the month has been I provenzali sweet almond oil, I recently wrote about it here, I love it because it’s very hydrating , it’s scent free, a little goes a long way and it’s 100% natural!

empties_products

Last but not least I finished a Benefit Benetint mini size! I don’t like this product at all, it’s useless in my opinion and it’s too pricey for what it does, which is slightly staining your cheeks. I’m very pale and it doesn’t show on my skin tone, on darker skin tones it’s totally useless! I used it mostly last summer for a very natural and easy look, but I would never repurchase it! here you can find my review.

That’s it for this month, see you next month with more empties!

Italian version:

Ciao fatine,

A me piace molto e l’ho già ricomprata!

empties_products
