playful dolphins at sunset nail art

On a far away tropic island, when the sun is about to set and the sea looks calm and sparkly , dolphins start playing around and chasing eachoter! They love sunset because the sky looks like a painting with amazing colors, and the sea reflects them and it adds shimmers and silver foam!

For the ombrè effect I use the sponge technique with three colours, yellow, orange and light blue, and for dolphins and palm trees I used black acrylic paint! I hope you like it!

Paciugopedia 2.0 #4 -green green grass of home

Hi fairies,
today’s look is all about green, it could have been perfect for St. Patrick’s day a couple of weeks ago! we've got another Swedish blogger, Viola Killer Colours! To be honest this is probably my less favourite out of all ten looks, because I don’t like olive greens and golden greens, but at the same time I think it’s one of the easiest one so you win some you lose some!

I used a chartreuse green all over my lid, and I intensified it in the outer corner with a darker green, I used both an olive and a moss green shade. I blended it upward in the crease and in the lower crease I added a tiny bit of a matte dark green as well. In the inner corner there’s a pop of yellow, there is no eyeliner which is a no no for me, she’s got a green line I achieved by using matte green eyeshadow, it is just a soft line close to the upper lashline.

That’s it for this week, l’m looking forward to next week’s look!

Ciao fatine,

all good things come to an end aka march empties

Hi fairies,
It’s the end of the month and it’s time to share with you my empties..I know you were dying to read this post!

First product I ran out of it’s the body shop Vitamin E moisture lotion spf 15 , a face cream l use in the morning; I’ve reviewed it already, you can read my opinion here if you’re interested, let’s just say it is very rich and moisturizing and I think it’s more suitable for dry skin , but I’ve got another tube ready to be opened because all in all I like it and I’ve learnt how to get the best out of it without having any break out: I basically have to apply just the tiniest bit of it and massage it till it’s absorbed.

Next product is the shea butter by I provenzali, it is pure shea butter I use for my hair as deep hair conditioning treatment, I also use it on my face twice a week more or less, before going to bed : I apply a pea size amount and l massage it till it’s almost completely absorbed, and I go to sleep. In the morning my skin looks great, very glowy and refilled. I love it! I use it on my elbows and heels when they get dry, and I rub it on my nails before applying nail polish. It is a must have for me , and I’ve already opened another jar!

Then I ran out of one of my favourite body lotion ever: the body shop ginger sparkle shimmer lotion, a limited edition scent that comes out at Christmas and I always stock it up to use it all year round! It’s very moisturizing to be a lotion, and the scent is awesome, heaven on earth! It smells of ginger cookies, cinnamon, ginger and biscuits, it’s amazing! It is very very sparkly, it leaves a shiny glow on your skin that lasts forever and it goes on your clothes as well: they are very fine shimmers and they seem to get inside fabric thread and stay there after washing them. I don’t mind but if you’re not into shimmer and sparkles this is not the product for you!

Next product is Kiko photoage sunscreen spf 30: I apply it everyday in the morning, after moisturizing cream and after showering, as a base and as sunblock. It is important to protect your skin with sunblock all year round, Italians don’t do it , they think they don’t need it but they’re wrong, we all do. It’s also slightly mattifying and it helps keeping shine at bay! I’ve heard many people complaining about this product because their skin break out a lot but it hasn’t happened to me, it is a good sunscreen in my opinion and I repurchased it already.

Then I ran out of my kiko 3 in 1 shine fortifying base and top coat, I like it both as base and top coat and I’ve been repurchasing for quite a long time.

Last but not least is the  Ringana cream concentrate 1 : here’s my complete review, I have to say I’m really impressed with this cream and I’m seriously thinking to buy it in full size. It is very light and once you put it on your skin and you rub it in it seems it changes texture and it gets mattifying in a matter of seconds! It keeps my skin shine free and it nourishes it at the same time, I think it’s one of the best cream for oily skin I’ve ever tried!

That’s it for March, see you in April with more empties!

Ciao fatine,
