Cities of the world series: Paris Versailles inspired makeup #3

Versailles gardens

For my third cities of the world series’ look we’re going to Paris, to be more specific to Versailles!I’m sure you’ve seen pics of the palace and its gardens even if you haven’t been there, so you know what I’m talking about: Versailles gardens are so green and lush, they are amazing and huge , and the palace is luxury itself with golden accents everywhere, big chandeliers, golden columns, statues and marbles. I love it! It feels like going back in time and stepping right into a fairytale! I tried to recreate Versailles magic with this look: for the crease I chose a grass green that represents gardens , on my lid I used silver in the inner corner and gold in the outer corner to represent the palace decorations, floor and ceilings and tapestry and columns. I drew some spirals just because there are so many intricate swirls and designs all over columns and furnitures, and I added flowers and stars rhinestones . Welcome to Versailles!

Per il terzo appuntamento con la serie ispirata alle città del mondo, questa settimana andiamo a Parigi, e più precisamente a Versailles! Se non ci siete mai state avrete sicuramente visto delle foto del palazzo e dei giardini, e sapete di cosa sto parlando: i giardini sono enormi, verdi e rigogliosi, mentre il palazzo è lussuoso e barocco, con tocchi di oro un po’ dappertutto, grandi lampadari , colonne dorate, statue e marmi. Lo adoro! Quando lo si visita sembra di tornare indietro nel tempo e di essere in una favola! Ho cercato di ricreare la magia di Versailles con questo look: per la piega dell’occhio ho scelto un verde prato che rappresenta i giardini, mentre sulla palpebra mobile ho applicato argento nell’angolo interno ed oro nell’angolo esterno, a rappresentare lo sfarzo e le decorazioni del palazzo, i pavimenti, i soffitti, la tappezzeria e le colonne. Ho anche disegnato alcune spirali che richiamano i motivi che si trovano con frequenza nelle decorazioni dei mobili e delle colonne, ed ho aggiunto fiori e stelle. Benvenuti a Versailles!
