Halloween look : Tinkerbell

Hi fairies,

I don’t know about you, but I love Halloween because it’s magical and it gives us the chance, at least once a year,  to step out of our comfort zone and dare wearing crazy makeup, crazy outfits or just one crazy and spooky accessory! It’s also great fun for children, if you’re a parent you know what I’m talking about, and you’re probably getting ready to go trick or treating!

This year I decided to share with you my Halloween look, which is not spooky at all but it’s ethereal, magical and whimsical, in one word it is a Tinkerbell look! I’m predictable, I know, but I couldn’t help myself, and I’m quite pleased with the result!

For the eye look I started by applying a yellow eyeshadow in the inner corner, followed by a lime green in the middle of my lid and a slightly more vibrant green in the outer corner. I blended colors into one another to get a very soft and ethereal look, and then I added a bit more of the lime green in my crease, applying it with a blending brush to defuse it and blown it out; I applied a bit of a golden eyeshadow in the inner half of my crease to add some shimmer , and as highlighter I used vanilla pigment by Mac, a cream color with gold and pink duochrome. I applied a very sparkly body and face powder in the inner corner, on top of the yellow, and it looked just like fairy dust! I drew tink wings in my outer corner in pastel blue, and I defined them with a white liquid liner. I traced a thin lime green line as close as possible to my lashline, and that was it for my eyes.

For my face I used my regular foundation and I set it with a good face powder for a super flawless look, and thenI went a bit crazy with highlighter! I used a super shimmery one I got on my cheekbones, nose, chin and forehead to give my skin a fairy like glow, and I chose a Barbie pink blush for a subtle touch of color .

For my lips I picked a Barbie pink lipstick and I topped it with a sparkly lip gloss, and that’s it, I hope you like it, I’m going out to sprinkle fairy dust all around!

Non so voi, ma io amo Halloween perchè l’atmosfera è magica, e perché ci permette, almeno una volta l’anno, di osare con il trucco, con i costumi o anche con dei semplici accessori! È soprattutto una festa che fa divertire i bambini, se siete genitori sapete benissimo di cosa sto parlando, e scommetto che vi state preparando per andare a bussare alle porte con i vostri figli per il classico “dolcetto o scherzetto”!

Quest’anno ho deciso di condividere con voi il mio look per Halloween, che non è assolutamente inquietante o sinistro, ma è etereo, magico e fiabesco, infatti ho deciso di mascherarmi da tinkerbell! Sono prevedibile, lo so, ma non ho saputo resistere, e sono anche abbastanza soddisfatta del risultato!
per il trucco occhi ho iniziato applicando un ombretto giallo nell’angolo interno, seguito da un ombretto verde lime al centro della palpebra, e poi da un ombretto di un verde leggermente più intenso nell’angolo esterno dell’occhio. Ho sfumato bene i colori l’uno nell’altro per ottenere un effetto delicato e sfumato, e poi  ho aggiunto un po’ di verde lime nella piega dell’occhio, usando un pennello da sfumatura per ammorbidire i contorni; nella metà interna della piega ho aggiunto un ombretto dorato, che ha dato luminosità , e come illuminante ho usato il pigmento vanilla di Mac, un color crema con cangianze rosa e dorate. Nell’angolo interno dell’occhio, sopra all’ombretto giallo, ho tamponato una polvere scintillante per viso e corpo, che sembra proprio polvere magica! Ho disegnato le ali di tinkerbell nell’angolo esterno dell’occhio con un eyeliner celeste, ed ho aggiunto dettagli con un eyeliner bianco. Ho tracciato una linea sottile di eyeliner verde lime, tenendomi il più vicino possibile all’attaccatura delle ciglia, e per quanto riguarda gli occhi è tutto.

Per il viso ho usato il mio fondotinta abituale, e l’ho fissato con una delle migliori polveri opacizzanti che conosco, per un effetto impeccabile e una pelle da bambola; ho poi abbondato con l’illuminante, ne ho usato uno pieno di glitter dorati , e l’ho applicato sugli zigomi, sul naso, sul mento e sulla fronte, per dare alla pelle una luminosità degna di una fata; come fard ho scelto un color rosa Barbie, per aggiungere solo un tocco leggero di colore.

Sulle labbra ho usato un rossetto rosa Barbie, e al centro ho applicato un lucidalabbra molto luminoso,ed è tutto, spero vi piaccia, ora esco e vado a spargere polvere fatata ovunque!
