Smaltopedia 2.0 #2

Hi fairies,

for the second smaltopedia episode we have to recreate a neon nail art with a Chevron theme, and unfortunately I haven’t got any chevron tapes so I had to draw it freehand for a result that isn’t perfect, but I tried! That was the only difficult bit of the nail art that is pretty simple, it plays with color combo for a vibrant result, which I like!

I applied a navy blue nail polish on my ring finger , while the rest of my nails are neon pink and neon orange: I applied the orange on the bottom half of my nails and the pink on the upper half without being too precise because the chevron band will cover the spot where the two colors meet; I then outlined each nail with black to create a thin frame, and then I drew the chevron band , first with black and then I filled it in with white. With a fine detail brush I drew thin vertical lines inside, and that’s it, I hope you like it!

Per il secondo episodio di Smaltopedia dovevamo riprodurre una nail art con un motivo a zig zag, e purtroppo io non ho il nastro a zig zag quindi l’ho disegnato a mano libera, ottenendo un risultato non perfetto, ma ci ho provato! Questa era l’unica difficoltà della nail art, che per il resto gioca sulle combinazioni di colori vibranti, per un effetto shock che a me piace!

Ho applicato uno smalto blu scuro sull’anulare, mentre sulle altre unghie ho usato un rosa e un arancione fluo, quest’ultimo l’ho steso sulla metà inferiore delle unghie, mentre il rosa si trova nella metà superiore; non è importante che l’applicazione sia precisa, perché la linea a zig zag andrà a coprire il punto in cui i due colori si incontrano. Con il nero ho contornato ogni unghia, creando praticamente una cornice dai bordi sottili, e poi ho disegnato la linea a zig zag prima in nero, e poi l’ho riempita di bianco; ho aggiunto delle lineette verticali all’interno e la nail art è completa, spero vi piaccia!
