One product review : Kiko cleansing scrub

When it comes to scrubs I get very serious and professional , because I really need a good one for my skin, and even I basically use the garnier 3 in 1 scrub mask and cleanser most of the time, I still like trying new ones and see if I might swap for a while. With that in mind I bought kiko cleansing scrub, and I finished the whole tube, so I’m ready to tell you what I think about it!

let’s see how it’s described: Revitalizing cleansing scrub, it cleanses the skin from the last traces of make up and frees it from dead cells.Soft exfoliating gel that turns into a light cleansing milk when in contact with water.Thanks to natural extracts with emollient and smoothing properties combined with micro-granules, it thoroughly cleanses the skin, freeing it from impurities and dead cells.
Perfectly cleansed, facial skin regains its natural radiance and looks smooth, silky and even. Non comedogenic. Paraben free. Price 6.90 £ - 6.90 € for 75 ml.

What I like : I always appreciate a transparent tube that allows you to keep an eye of how much product’s left, it’s definitely a pro in my opinion; also it’s very easy to get the amount of product you need out as there’s a sifter with a hole when you open the lid. It’s got a nice, fresh smell that isn’t too strong . The scrub is not too thick, it’s got a jelly consistency , not sticky at all. I like the clean and fresh feeling it gives once you wash it away, it’s not aggressive  even though micro grains are pretty big, I can feel them with my hands and on my skin, and it feels like it really does a deep scrub and exfoliation, it keeps shine at bay all day and it helps to keep blemishes under control.

What I don’t like: I don’t like that although the consistency is jelly like,  it’s a bit too runny and it’s easy to drop a bit of it, with a waste of product; also as I’ve just said micro grains feel big and even though I haven’t had any irritation or dry patches , I think it’s too aggressive on combination skin , and it’s a no no on dry skin! I suggest it only if you’ve got oily skin like I have.

My verdict: a good, deep scrub that will leave your skin clean and free from impurities, but be careful not to use it if your skin is dry , it’s way too strong and aggressive! It’s perfect for oily skin though, if you’re looking for a strong and effective scrub you won’t be disappointed!

Quando si parla di esfolianti divento seria e professionale, perché a me ne serve uno veramente valido, e anche se quello che uso più spesso è il garnier 3 in 1 maschera, detergente ed esfoliante, mi piace provarne di nuovi per vedere se riesco a trovarne uno all’altezza del mio preferito, da poter alternare . con questo spirito ho comprato l’esfoliante di Kiko,e ho finito la confezione, quindi sono pronta a parlarvene e a dirvi cosa ne penso!

Vediamo come viene descritto: Scrub detergente rivitalizzante, deterge la pelle dalle ultime tracce di make up e la libera dalle cellule morte.

 Morbido gel esfoliante che a contatto con l'acqua si trasforma in un leggero latte detergente.

Grazie ad estratti naturali dalle proprietà emollienti e leviganti uniti a microgranuli, deterge a fondo la pelle, liberandola da impurità e cellule morte.
Perfettamente detersa, la pelle del viso ritrova la sua naturale luminosità e appare liscia, setosa e levigata. Non comedogenico e senza parabeni. Prezzo 6.90 £- 6.90 € per 75 ml. 

Cosa mi piace: apprezzo sempre un tubo trasparente che permette di tenere sotto controllo la quantità di prodotto rimasta, e questo non fa eccezione; quando aprite il tappo trovate un comodo dosatore, dotato di un foro, che permette di far uscire la quantità di prodotto che vi serve con facilità. Il profumo è fresco e delicato, non particolarmente persistente. La consistenza non è troppo densa e nemmeno appiccicosa, è piuttosto gelatinosa. Mi piace la sensazione di freschezza e pulizia che lascia sul viso, non è aggressivo nonostante i micro granuli all’interno siano abbastanza grandi, si sentono sulle mani e anche sulla pelle, ed effettivamente permettono di ottenere una detersione e un’esfoliazione profonda, che mantiene la pelle opaca tutto il giorno. Ho notato che , usato tutti i giorni, aiuta a non far comparire imperfezioni ed impurità.

Cosa non mi piace: non mi piace che la consistenza, sebbene gelatinosa, sia piuttosto liquida, ed è facile che se ne sprechi un po’; inoltre come ho detto poco fa i micro granuli all’interno sono abbastanza grandi e sebbene a me non abbiano irritato la pelle né la abbiano disidratata, immagino che non sia il prodotto a chi ha la pelle mista né tantomeno secca! Ve lo consiglio solo se avete la pelle grassa.

Il mio verdetto: un buon esfoliante, che pulisce in profondità e lascia la vostra pelle pura ed opaca, che però sconsiglio a chi ha la pelle secca! Se invece avete la pelle grassa, e siete alla ricerca di un esfoliante forte contro la lucidità e non certo delicato, provatelo e non rimarrete deluse!
