One product review : Kiko luminous chrome metallic lipstick

Today I want to talk to you about Kiko luminous chrome lipstick, a product I don’t hear much about it I don’t know why, maybe it’s because people think it’s got a frosty finish and they’re not very keen on buying it. I recently purchased one of them , a nice purple, and after using it several times I’m ready to share my impression with you!

What I like: I’ve got number 714 violet, and it is a vivid, intense purple with silver microglitter in it. It is not frosty and it’s not like the 80’s lipsticks at all, this one is just a bit sheer and there’s a slight metallic iridescence to it.  It is creamy and smooth when you apply it, it’s not streaky nor patchy and with two coats your lips will be fully covered, but keep in mind color will never be as full as a matte finish lipstick. It feels comfortable and it’s quite long lasting to be a metallic lipstick. It doesn’t last as long as a matte one of course, but that’s to be expected.

What I don’t like: it’s texture is quite on the creamy side, and you can’t apply it without a lip pencil because it would smudge a bit, at least that’s my personal experience. If you like bright, full colors, this line might not be your favourite because they are a bit sheer and you can’t build the color up. 

My verdict: I like matte and creamy textures more, but this one is good for a change and for being outside a couple of hours is perfect, it will make your lips shiny and it will keep them soft!

Oggi voglio parlarvi dei rossetti Kiko luminous chrome, una linea di cui non sento parlare spesso, forse perché molte persone pensano che abbiano una finitura frost e non sono invogliate a provarli. Io ne ho acquistato uno di recente, un bel colore viola, e dopo averlo usato diverse volte sono pronta a condividere con voi le mie impressioni!

Vediamo come vengono descritti i rossetti luminous chrome dalla kiko:

Cosa mi piace : Io ho preso il numero 714 violet, ed è un viola intenso e deciso con micro glitter argentati all’interno. Non ha una finitura frost e non è affatto simile ai rossetti che si usavano negli anni ’80, questo ha una leggera finitura metallica e non è coprente al cento per cento, è leggermente trasparente. La consistenza è cremosa e scivola sulle labbra quando lo applicate, non è duro e non è difficile da stendere. Con due passate le vostre labbra saranno coperte, compatibilmente con la finitura metallica. È confortevole sulle labbra e ha una durata media, ovviamente inferiore ai rossetti opachi.

Cosa non mi piace: la consistenza è abbastanza cremosa, e per me va applicato sempre con una matita labbra , altrimenti c’è il rischio concreto di sbavature! Se amate i rossetti dai colori pieni e compatti questa linea non sarà sicuramente tra le vostre preferite, perché il colore rimane leggermente trasparente e non è modulabile.

Il mio verdetto: preferisco rossetti dalla finitura opaca o cremosa, ma questo va bene per cambiare, e se si sta fuori solo un paio d’ore lo si può indossare tranquillamente, le labbra saranno morbide e luminose!
