One year makeup bag/ la mia pochette trucco per un anno

Agata did this video last year and I liked the idea a lot, in her video she showed what products she would have used for one year if she could only use what fit in her makeup bag, so I’ve decided to write a similar post and to challenge myself!

I thought of what products I couldn’t do without, and I put them in first and, if there was still room available after that, I added some more!

I first picked a face primer, this one is nivea after shave balm and I like it a lot, and then a foundation, my favorite is mac studio fix fluid, which I use all year round. 

A good base for me is important, I would never do my eye makeup without doing my face makeup because it feels sloppy to me, but I can just do the base, add some mascara and lipstick and I’m good to go! A good concealer has to be in my bag, I chose one that works well in my undereye area and on break outs, nars eclat concealer, but I like Nyx hd one as well, Kiko and benefit boi-ing, I just happen to have this one on hand. I’ve got oily skin so I need to fix my foundation to keep shine at bay, and one of my favorite face powder is Mac set powder, it’s very fine, it doesn’t set into fine lines, it doesn’t look cakey and it stays in place all day.

I could do without highlighter but why should I? glowing is beautiful, it enhances our best features, and my highlighter of choice is Mac lightscapade, it’s part of the permanent line, it’s very pigmented but it hasn’t got any glitter in it, it’s beautiful!

I skipped blush because I don’t feel like is a must have, I can do without it if needed , and I added mascara and eyeliner because they both open my look a lot and they make my eyes look bigger and more awake! I also like to wear white pencil in the waterline, or colourful pencils depending on my mood and on my eye makeup, so I picked a white one and a teal one.  I also need an eyebrow gel, nyx one is my favorite, and an angled brush to apply it.

For eyeshadows I picked a wycon palette with white, blue and teal because I can basically do an eye makeup with this one and it doesn’t take much room so it’s perfect! I’ve also added this mac quad with beautiful purple shades, I just love it and I can do so many different looks with it, from a smokey eye to a simpler everyday makeup. I also added some mono eyeshadows because I really like changing eye makeup everyday; it wasn’t easy to decide which ones but eventually I went for some shock shadows by colourpop, sugarpill poison plum, the best purple ever, and Mac foiled shadow in magic in your eyes,  great for a smoky eye and to give more depth to the outer corner.

For lipsticks I’ve just tossed in my favorite liptints, lime crime faded and blondie, colourpop vice, lumiere 2, trap,knotty, wycon 35 and some lip pencils to match them!

I would need some brushes as well, so I put in my bag my beauty blender to apply foundation and concealer, a powder brush for face powder, my trustee mac 217, mac 252 and this one for highlighter, a pencil brush and I think that’s it, I’ve got everything I need! Agata ha fatto questo video lo scorso anno e l’idea mi è piaciuta molto, nel suo video mostrava i prodotti che avrebbe usato per un anno se avesse potuto usare solo quello che entrava nel suo beauty case, così ho deciso di scrivere un post analogo e di mettermi alla prova!

Ho pensato a quali prodotti non potrei rinunciare e li ho inseriti per primi e poi, se fosse avanzato posto, avrei aggiunto qualche altra cosa!

Come prima cosa ho preso un primer viso, questo è il nivea aftershave balm e mi piace molto, e poi un fondotinta, il mio preferito è il Mac studio fix fluid che uso tutto l’anno. Per me una buona base è importante, non potrei mai truccare gli occhi senza truccare il viso perché mi dà un’idea di trascuratezza, mentre posso truccare il viso, aggiungere del mascara e del rossetto ed essere pronta per uscire! 

Nel mio beauty case non può mancare un buon correttore, ne ho scelto uno che posso usare sia nella zona perioculare che sulle imperfezioni, il nars eclat, ma mi piace anche quello di Nyx, quello di Kiko e il boi-ing di Benefit, questo è quello che sto usando in questo periodo. Avendo la pelle grassa ho necessità di fissare il fondotinta per tenere a bada la lucidità, e una delle mie ciprie preferite è la Mac set powder, ha una grana finissima, non si infila nelle rughette, non appesantisce e dura tutto il giorno.

Potrei fare a meno dell’illuminante, ma perché dovrei? Brillare è bello, mette in risalto le nostre caratteristiche migliori, e l’illuminante che ho scelto è Mac lightscapade, fa parte della linea permanente, è molto pigmentato ma non ha glitter all’interno, è bellissimo!

Non ho preso nessun blush perché è un prodotto di cui posso fare a meno, e ho aggiunto mascara e eyeliner perché mi aprono molto lo sguardo, rendono i miei occhi più grandi e mi danno un aspetto più sveglio! Mi piace anche aggiungere una matita bianca nella rima interna, o colorata a seconda dell’umore e del trucco occhi, così ne ho presa una bianca e una azzurra. Mi serve anche un gel per sopracciglia, quello di nyx è il mio preferito, e un pennello angolato per applicarlo.

Come ombretti ho scelto una palette di wycon con un bianco, un blu e un turchese perché praticamente posso farci un trucco occhi completo ed è molto piccola, non occupa spazio, quindi è perfetta! Ho anche aggiunto questo quad di mac con bellissime tonalità viola, mi piace molto e ci posso realizzare tanti trucchi diversi, da uno smokey eye ad un trucco delicato adatto per tutti i giorni. Ho anche aggiunto qualche ombretto mono perché mi piace cambiare il trucco occhi tutti i giorni; scegliere non è stato facile, ma alla fine ho optato per qualche shock shadows di colourpop, sugarpill poison plum, il viola più bello che c’è, e Mac foiled shadow in magic in your eyes, da usare sia per smokey eyes che per intensificare l’angolo esterno.

Come rossetti ho messo nel beauty le mie tinte labbra preferite,  lime crime faded e blondie, colourpop vice, lumiere 2, trap,knotty, wycon 35, e qualche matita labbra da abbinarci!

Mi servirebbero anche dei pennelli, quindi ho messo nella borsa la beauty blender per applicare sia il fondotinta che il correttore, un pennello per le polveri per applicare la cipria, i miei fidati mac 217 e mac 252 e questo per l’illuminante, un pennello penna e direi che è tutto, ho tutto quello di cui ho bisogno!
