One product review nyx vivid brights liquid liner

I love colourful liners because they can turn the simplest makeup in a unique one, in summer they are a must have for me, I often use a couple of eyeshadows and then I spice the makeup up with colourful liners! The only problem is it’s not easy to find good ones, especially in the low cost range.

What I like: the tube is the same color of the liquid liner, which makes it very easy to find the one I’m looking for. I own all of them and they are all insanely pigmented, colors are vibrant, not streaky, full after one layer, basically a dream come true! The consistency is not too runny nor too thick and I find it very easy to draw a line. They come with a brush, which is the applicator I love the most when it comes to eyeliners because it allows me total control on the thickness of my line, and this one is no exception: for the price point is a good brush, it hasn’t lost its shape and it does its job really well. They’re not waterproof but they’re long lasting, they don’t smudge, they don’t crack and they stay on all day.

What I don’t like: unfortunately I had to throw some of them away because they dried up really fast, just a couple of months after buying them and I was very disappointed. It never happened to me before, and I had eyeliners that lasted for years, they never dried up like these ones. I always close them carefully so it’s not that, I think it’s the formula. I couldn’t apply them anymore as they were totally dry, flaky.

My verdict: I do like the colors and the formula but I don’t like how fast they get dry, so I’m on the fence about them. They are really good as long as they’re not dry, but they don’t last long enough in my opinion.

Mi piacciono molto gli eyeliner colorati perché riescono a trasformare un makeup semplicissimo in uno unico, d’estate per me sono indispensabili, spesso uso un paio di ombretti e poi rendo il makeup più particolare con un eyeliner colorato! L’unico problema è che non è facile trovarne di validi, specialmente in ambito low cost.

Cosa mi piace: la confezione è dello stesso colore del prodotto all’interno, il che mi rende facilissimo individuarli. Li ho quasi tutti e sono tutti estremamente pigmentati, i colori sono intensi, non lasciano striature, sono pieni dopo una sola passata, praticamente un sogno diventato realtà. La consistenza non è ne troppo liquida né troppo densa e mi permette di tracciare una linea con facilità. Hanno un pennello come applicatore, che è quello che io, personalmente, preferisco, perché mi permette di avere il controllo totale sullo spessore della linea, e questo non fa eccezione: per il prezzo che ha è un buon pennello, non ha perso la forma da quando li ho comprati e fa egregiamente il suo lavoro. Non sono resistenti all’acqua ma non colano, hanno una buona durata, non fanno le crepette e resistono tutto il giorno.

Cosa non mi piace: purtroppo ne ho già dovuti buttare un paio dopo solo qualche mese perché si seccano molto rapidamente e questo mi ha deluso molto. Non mi era mai successo prima, ho avuto eyeliner che mi sono durati anni, non si sono mai seccati come questi. Sono sempre attenta a chiuderli bene quindi non credo sia questo il problema, penso che la causa sia proprio la loro formulazione. Non li potevo più usare perché erano secchi e si sfaldavano.

Il mio verdetto: mi piacciono i colori e la formula ma non mi piace che si secchino così rapidamente, quindi il mio giudizio è incerto. Sono ottimi finchè non si seccano ma, secondo me, durano troppo poco.
