One product review : The Body Shop seaweed cleansing milk

Today’s product is one of my staples , I’ve been using it for years and I always go back to it because I have yet to find a better cleansing milk for quality-price ratio and for results; this cleansing milk is part of the seaweed line, for combination to oily skin, so it might not be the right one for you if you’ve got dry skin, but let’s see first how it’s described : a delicate creamy lotion, not greasy and soap free, that will leave your skin clean and mattyfied. With glycerin and seaweed from Ireland Fair Trade. Price is 9.00 € for 200 ml.

What I like : I like the texture, which is not runny nor too thick, it’s the perfect consistency: it’s not hard to get it out and you can be sure you won’t spill it everywhere! I like the see through bottle that allows to keep an eye on how much product is left, sometimes it’s hard to tell and you have to open it to check; it’s got a fresh smell that isn’t strong at all, it’s nice and it’s not overwhelming. You need a pea size to remove your makeup, and it removes any kind of makeup without effort, I love that! All I have to do is rub a cotton pad on my face and it’s gone! It leaves my skin fresh and clean , not greasy at all , and the product itself doesn’t feel heavy nor oily even though it’s quite creamy. It gives you the feeling your pores are minimized and it cleans your skin deeply, it’s perfect for oily skin like mine that needs a cleansing milk not too heavy but effective at removing makeup. It’s very long lasting so it’s worth the price and, compared to other brands, it’s not expensive at all considering a bottle will last at least 3 months, that’s why after trying others I’ve gone back to this one and I’ve been sticking with it for quite a while now . 

What I don’t like : the only down side I can find is that you have to put it upside down when there’s few product left, else you have to shake it to get it out and it might be annoying. Apart from that I love it! 

My verdict : I recommend it to people with combination to oily skin, you should definitely try it , you won’t regret it I promise! It’s a very good cleansing milk, perfect all year round, not too expensive and definitely a winner!

Il prodotto di cui vi parlo oggi è uno di quelli che non manca mai nel mio armadietto, lo uso da anni e sono sempre tornata ad usarlo perché devo ancora trovare un latte detergente con un miglior rapporto qualità prezzo e che mi dia risultati migliori; fa parte della linea alle alghe marine, specifica per pelli miste e grasse,quindi se avete la pelle secca potrebbe non essere adatto a voi. Vediamo subito come viene descritto: Una delicata lozione cremosa, non grassa e priva di sapone che lascia la pelle pulita ed opacizzata. Con alghe marine dal Commercio Equo con l'Irlanda e glicerina. Prezzo 9.00 € per 200 ml.

Cosa mi piace : mi piace la consistenza, che non è né troppo liquida né troppo densa, è una giusta via di mezzo: non bisogna agitarlo per farlo uscire dalla bottiglia, e non rischiate nemmeno di farne uscire troppo! Mi piace anche la bottiglia trasparente che permette di tenere sotto controllo il consumo che ne fate, mentre quando non lo  è risulta difficile capire quanto prodotto è rimasto, l’unica soluzione è aprire la confezione. Il profumo è delicato e fresco, non forte. Ne basta una piccola quantità su un dischetto di cotone per rimuovere tutto il trucco dal viso, basta semplicemente passarlo bene sulla pelle e, senza fare alcuno sforzo, vedrete che elimina qualsiasi tipo di trucco!lascia la pelle fresca e morbida, non unta, il prodotto stesso non è pesante sulla pelle e non è troppo corposo nonostante la consistenza sia abbastanza cremosa. Ha un effetto astringente sui pori e dà la sensazione di pulire in profondità, è perfetto per le pelli grasse come la mia , che hanno bisogno di un prodotto leggero che allo stesso tempo sia efficace nel rimuovere il trucco. Dura veramente a lungo, almeno 3 mesi, quindi non è affatto caro, anzi paragonato ad altri prodotti ha un ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo, ed è per questo che rimane il mio preferito anche dopo averne provati molti altri.

Cosa non mi piace: l’unico difetto che riesco a trovargli è che, quando sta per finire, dovete tenerlo capovolto, altrimenti dovete agitare bene la bottiglia ogni volta che lo usate, per far scendere il prodotto e poterlo usare. A parte questo lo amo!

Il mio verdetto: consiglio di provarlo a chi ha la pelle mista o grassa, non ve ne pentirete, ve lo garantisco! Io lo uso tutto l’anno, è un ottimo latte detergente, non costoso e di buona qualità, decisamente un prodotto vincente!
