The body shop new line/ nuova linea Fijian water lotus

I’m very excited and proud to give you a preview of an amazing new The Body Shop line that is available today, both online and in shops!

It is the Fijian water lotus line, inspired by the tropical lotus flower, and it is a fresh, vibrant and exotic scent that will immediately take you to your personal paradise’s corner! It reminds me of a sea breeze ,straight from the pacific ocean, fresh and summery, and the head notes are mandarin and litsea, while Fijian water lotus are heart notes : these flowers are hand picked at Fiji  islands and they are the key to create this unique scent! It’s an invigorating and refreshing fragrance, perfect for summer!

The Body Shop will launch six amazing products:

Fijian water lotus body butter: leaves your skin soft and smooth, and it deeply nourishes it. The scent is fresh aquatic-floral , for breeze of fragrance straight from the Pacific.

Fijian water lotus scented oil: a concentrate, strong and long lasting formula.

Fijian water lotus eau de toilette: a fresh, vibrant fragrance with water lotus notes and frangipani accords for a breeze straight from the Pacific.

Fijian water lotus body mist: a light and unique scented body spray with a refreshing tropical fragrance to it.

Fijian water lotus shower gel: a refreshing shower gel , soap free, that will cleanse your skin and leave it soft and moisturized.

 Fijian water lotus body lotion: a light and refreshing body lotion that will leave your skin slightly scented .

The Fijian water lotus eau de toilette and body mist have got 100% of organic alcohol handmade from sugar cane by the 200 farmers of the Consorcio Agro-artesanal Dulce Organico (CADO), in Cotopaxi, Ecuador. The organic sugar cane here produces a pure high quality alcohol that is perfect for our fragrances, and our trade supports CADO in its aim to give its members “a chance to fight poverty without losing their traditional way of life or destroying the environment”. CADO is a co-operative of over 200 smallholder family farmers. Our trade helps give members control of their pricing and production schedules, providing stability to a community that had previously been at the mercy of unscrupulous traders. Families now have a steady income to help pay for food, health and education, and to plan for the future.

I’ve had the chance to try the body lotion, perfect for summer as it isn’t sticky, it’s not heavy , it gets absorbed fast and it’s very moisturizing like all the body shop body lotions, they are my favourite when it comes to quality! I like the scent, it’s exactly as described, very fresh , it reminds of sea breeze , it’s not too strong but it’s long lasting. I love it!

I’ve already tried the eau the toilette and, even if I don’t use perfumes much apart from my favourite, I like this one because it’s very light and fresh, I would say it’s similar to a scented water, and I like using light scents that don’t last too long and that aren’t too strong when it’s very hot!

Last product I received is the perfume oil, and this one has got a stronger and long lasting scent , it is alcohol free and I love pure scents like this one , I’m going to use it a lot as soon as temperature will drop down a bit!

Si tratta della linea con estratto di fiore di loto delle fiji, ed è una fragranza fresca, esotica e vibrante che vi porterà subito nel vostro personale angolo di paradiso! Ricorda la brezza marina, quella che viene direttamente dal Pacifico, fresca ed estiva, ed ha note di testa di mandarino e litsea, note di cuore di fiori di loto raccolti a mano nelle isole Fiji,che sono la chiave per ottenere un profumo unico e sensuale,  e per finire ha anche delle fresche note marine. Una fragranza perfetta per l’estate!

Il the Body Shop metterà in vendita sei nuovi prodotti:

burro corpo: idrata e nutre la pelle fino a 24 ore, donandole al tempo stesso un profumo paradisiaco.

Olio profumato: formulazione concentrata, intensa e persistente.

Eau de toilette: una fragranza fresca che ti trasporta alle isole fiji con la sua essenza marina.

Spray profumato: spray leggero per tutto il corpo, dalla fragranza tropicale fresca e avvolgente.

Doccia gel: un doccia gel rinfrescante per detergere e profumare la tua pelle, con estratto di fijian water lotus.

Idratante corpo: lozione idratante per il corpo leggera e rinfrescante, che lascia la pelle piacevolmente profumata.

L’EDT e lo Spray profumato corpo Fijian Water Lotus contengono il 100% di alcool biologico proveniente dal Commercio Equo con il Cotopaxi, in Ecuador .L’alcol biologico proviene da canna da zucchero biologica lavorata a mano dalla cooperativa Cado. CADO è una cooperativa di più di 200 piccole aziende agricole a conduzione familiare. I rapporti commerciali col The Body Shop consentono ai membri della cooperativa di controllare il prezzo ed i tempi di produzione, ed in questo modo le famiglie possono avere un introito fisso che permette loro di sostenere le spese per cibo, cure mediche ed educazione scolastica e per pianificare progetti futuri. The Body Shop è stato il primo cliente internazionale della CADO e la collaborazione è stata un successo. Il progetto di Commercio Equo consiste in parte anche nell’aiutare la cooperativa nella ricerca e nello sviluppo di rapporti commerciali con altri clienti.

Ho ricevuto tre dei prodotti della linea Fijian water Lotus, il primo è l’idratante corpo che secondo me è perfetto per l’estate, non è appiccicoso, non è pesante e si assorbe rapidamente ma è molto idratante, come tutte le lozioni corpo di the body shop, che sono le mie preferite in assoluto! Il profumo è molto piacevole, è fresco ed è esattamente come viene descritto, ricorda la brezza marina, non è troppo intenso ma è duraturo!

Poi ho ricevuto l’eau de toilette, che ho già usato, e anche se io non uso tantissimo i profumi tranne uno, che è il mio preferito in assoluto, ma questo prodotto mi piace perché ha un profumo molto fresco e leggero, secondo me è paragonabile ad un’acqua profumata, e amo usarle in estate , quando fa caldo e non sopporto i profumi troppo intensi !

L’ultimo prodotto che ho è l’olio profumato, che è sicuramente molto più intenso e persistente dell’eau de toilette, è senza alcol e io preferisco la fragranza pura , quindi lo userò sicuramente moltissimo non appena caleranno leggermente le temperature!
